“I’ve been coming to this Dollar Tree for years, and today around 12:15 I had the friendliest cashier I’ve ever met. I didn’t catch her name but she was a smaller framed younger girl with long blonde hair. Her kind spirit truly made my day. You never know what someone’s going through, and her positivity made a bigger impact than she probably even realizes.”

“Not even gonna cap. I have HATED every other dollar General I've been to in my life.This one finally broke through the walls I had put up about Dollar General. It has ALOT of stuff. I mean ALOT:·Dry grocery section·pet section·clothing section·health and beauty section·a little bit of electronics (I live in the immediate area around it: they were smart to skimp on that, real smart.)·a paper and chemcals section, not aisle, section including:TP, Paper Towels, disposable plates, cups, cutlery, cleaning products, air freshener, pest control, food storage, etc.)·a whole FREEZER section (w/ a WIDE selection for a DG tbh)·a home section·a clothes aisle·gift wrapping and greeting cardsEtc.Not even gonna lie. I'm all here for it. ????????????”
“For the most part my experiences are good here, I often go here to charge up my greendot prepaid credit card to pay bills with. Lately however, there's a new girl working here and watching her count money is a disaster. It takes her like 20 minutes to count $500, by the time she's done the money is spread all over the counter. Not very discreet. Then she holds bills (20s and bigger) up to the light to check and see if they're real.. No biggie I get that except that she checks 2, 3 and even 4 times sometimes. She gets confused on which ones she checked. When there's 25, 20 dollar bills this takes a lot of time. Someone should teach her how to count money. Her name tag says Dani”
“The staff was friendly and efficient and price changes ($1.25, $3 and $5) were pretty clear. Huge grocery section and My favorite thing of all? Great greeting card selection at 2 for $1. Can't go wrong.”

A lady with red locs was so welcoming spoke to me and everyone after me when they came in ( love that) which you don’t always get. I would like to give a special shout out to Bobby as if there was a clone of him in all the stores especially at the RAMSEY STREET STORE it would be a great experience to shop all the store not just this one in hope mills. The one at 1302 Ramsey street has got to be the worst one I have seen horrible”

My employer sent the packages overnight but Fed Ex was not updating their tracking information. I went to this store today just to check and the two employees there were very friendly and helpful and I felt like they actually cared about my packages.
Tonight, I got a call from Sheila- the lady from Dollar General!!!! She was just calling to let me know that my packages had arrived as she had predicted and that they would be available for pickup in the morning. I thanked her profusely and just wanted to give her a hug over the phone! This type of customer service is very rare, but obviously, she's a rare person! From the bottom of my heart, the most sincere thank you Sheila!!”

“I read some of these reviews and entitlement is strong in so many of the reviews. I’ve never had a problem with this store. Reading about backpacks and bags being asked to be left in the front. Well, in today’s world so many people are out here stealing from stores so guess what, stores are protecting their bottom line. I’m sick of prices going up because of stealing and not just because the economy is bad. Stores are shutting down because of theft. Yet, the same individuals complaining about having to leave their backpacks, etc. in the front will be the same people complaining about not having stores to shop at when they close because of theft. As far as rude employees, there are rude people everywhere! And yes, they shouldn’t be working in customer service, but also how was the employees encounter with the customer. Customers are rude as hell. And take out their entitled behavior on employees when employees don’t make the policy. Then store appearance complaints. Lord, these corporations work the piss out of their employees. The don’t staff and expect employees to have EVERYTHING perfect. No a customer does not work for Dollar General but how hard is it for a person to put something back down from where they got it from? Instead of shopping like a savage or a little kid being told not to touch something they aren’t buying! A customer tearing up a store, but complaining about its appearance. Make it make sense!”
“This is a Family Dollar inside the Westin shopping center near the large Walmart and Lowes. It's in western Cumberland County near the Hoke county line. It's great for a quick in and out shopping visit. Look for it in the strip center. See photos.”

“Our cashier Lisa was very attentive and sweet. She complimented us both as we did her also. She was very welcoming and genuine. These are the employees who deserve evaluations and pay increases regularly. Most family dollar stores will make me never go back to their location just because of the way they treat & ignore the customers. “I stopped by this Family Dollar with the intention of just buying water. I was greeted warmly by all staff at the door and while in the aisles. They handled both stocking and cashier duties expertly. I had NO idea this store would have as much as it did! There is an entire clothing and home section. I left with end tables, bathroom necessities, and decor for my new home. I have saved this location as my new dollar store.”
