“One of the more well stocked stores i. The area with clear isles. The store had always been clean and easy to maneuver. The staff are super sweet and friendly as well. I like how open it feels!”
“Not even gonna cap. I have HATED every other dollar General I've been to in my life.This one finally broke through the walls I had put up about Dollar General. It has ALOT of stuff. I mean ALOT:·Dry grocery section·pet section·clothing section·health and beauty section·a little bit of electronics (I live in the immediate area around it: they were smart to skimp on that, real smart.)·a paper and chemcals section, not aisle, section including:TP, Paper Towels, disposable plates, cups, cutlery, cleaning products, air freshener, pest control, food storage, etc.)·a whole FREEZER section (w/ a WIDE selection for a DG tbh)·a home section·a clothes aisle·gift wrapping and greeting cardsEtc.Not even gonna lie. I'm all here for it. ????????????”

“Doesn't matter what store I shop at, the employees are always nice and helpful. Now the store itself are usually tore slam up and very little room to navigate the isles, other customers and the junk and debris that always there. The deals are good though”

A lady with red locs was so welcoming spoke to me and everyone after me when they came in ( love that) which you don’t always get. When I got to checkout she asked if I found everything and thought I didn’t find one thing she did suggest another place that may have them. Thank you for the great customer experience”

“Every now and then I love to browse thru Family Dollar for all sorts of things.,,Whether accessory’s for bath room decor or pic frames for family & friend’s happy moments or gardening… OR/ALSO groceries if you don’t want to go to big store. Run in for last minute shopping ideas or accessories for a Bunch of all sort of occasions. GREAT PLACE to shop for convenience.”

“This is a Family Dollar inside the Westin shopping center near the large Walmart and Lowes. It's in western Cumberland County near the Hoke county line. It's great for a quick in and out shopping visit. Look for it in the strip center. See photos.”

“I read some of these reviews and entitlement is strong in so many of the reviews. I’ve never had a problem with this store. Reading about backpacks and bags being asked to be left in the front. Well, in today’s world so many people are out here stealing from stores so guess what, stores are protecting their bottom line. I’m sick of prices going up because of stealing and not just because the economy is bad. Stores are shutting down because of theft. Yet, the same individuals complaining about having to leave their backpacks, etc. in the front will be the same people complaining about not having stores to shop at when they close because of theft. As far as rude employees, there are rude people everywhere! And yes, they shouldn’t be working in customer service, but also how was the employees encounter with the customer. Customers are rude as hell. And take out their entitled behavior on employees when employees don’t make the policy. Then store appearance complaints. Lord, these corporations work the piss out of their employees. The don’t staff and expect employees to have EVERYTHING perfect. No a customer does not work for Dollar General but how hard is it for a person to put something back down from where they got it from? Instead of shopping like a savage or a little kid being told not to touch something they aren’t buying! A customer tearing up a store, but complaining about its appearance. Make it make sense!”

“I've had mostly good experiences at this location. The staff is normally friendly and willing to help when I need assistance. The biggest drawback is the store's location. The area where the store sits is riddled with vagrant and criminal activity. I have personally witnessed thieves openly shoplifting at this location. They tend to disappear once an employee is notified, but it must be frustrating to have to deal with things like that and fulfill all their duties during their shift. I'm sure there are budget constraints preventing them from hiring a professional loss prevention guard for the store, but at some point it might become necessary.
On one occasion a while back I had an older gentleman try to sell me his EBT benefits for cash. He was incessant with his request, following me throughout the store. Once I explained to the employees what was happening, they made sure that the man kept his distance for the duration of my shopping trip. They even kept an eye out for me while I made it safely back to my car. It appears that employees are aware of things like this happening at their location but helpless to do anything to make meaningful changes. Due to my personal experiences in this area, I choose not to shop during evening hours as a precaution.”
“Went there for my first time yesterday and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the aisles and the well maintained merchandise. Hardly anything was out of order. This is how it should be in all stores! So far it's the best looking one in Fayetteville I've seen. Only issues I saw was the floors need to be bleached and the ceiling in the rear left needs to be completed. Roll containers need to be in the back room when employees are not stocking. Fortunately only 2 of the rollers were on the floor.”
“When it is open, during the hours of operation, it's a nice dollar general. However, it does not always adhere to the hours of operation. Which makes the ability to predict when you can buy things low. ??♂️”
“I visited your store tonight between 6 & 7pm. I was searching for vanilla extract but found none on the shelf. A nice young man - African American asked if I need help. Of course I said no. I was struggling to get a 12 can case of pop and he offered to take it the counter. He even gave me a cart to carry my stuff. This young man was so helpful and polite. While bringing the shopping cart back he was outside and was coming to get the cart. I asked him his name. He said Aaron. Please thank Aaron for his exceptional service and he really made my day! Hire more people like him
