“I don't know why I hadn't left a 5 Star review sooner, I've been coming to this store for over a year now! This is my GO TO SPOT for all of my dedicated NC Souvenirs. For the out of town guests that come my way, I can truly rely on A Bit of Carolina to have the perfect NC items, gifts, knick knacks, gift bags and baskets etc. to make my guests/family/friends feel welcomed to our area. The customer service is impeccable! They truly care that their customers have the best, impressionable, and memorable NC items to takeaway. If I can't put my finger on what I'm needing or looking for, their suggestions are always 100% spot on. I love that their store highlights speciality items from the whole state: jellies, jams, BBQ sauce, chocolate, nuts, coffees, woodwork, metal work, glasswork. This is my absolute GO TO Spot! It's hard to just buy one thing when you go, so beware! Lol!”

“While I was stationed at Fort Bragg I was looking to get a shadow box made, after looking around for about a month someone referred me to Ballash Woodworks. After touring the facility with Kurt and Erin we sat down to make preliminary sketches of the case. They were very receptive to what I wanted while keeping the design viable. Eventually they introduced me to Joe, who would make the case. Throughout the whole process they kept me informed and when I asked them if they could add a coin display halfway through they did not hesitate to accommodate me. Even at this point I knew they were an excellent business, but following my sudden change of orders and PCS to Benning they were even more professional. Originally I was supposed to pick up my case in Fayetteville but I eventually had to ask them to ship it to Columbus, which they did without a complaint. They packed my case with a boatload of bubble wrap, but unfortunately upon arrival my case was broken in several places. Ballash Woodworks had insured the shipping of the case and worked tirelessly to get a full refund. They then drove Seven hours nonstop from Fayetteville to personally repair and replace the broken parts of my case and refunded me for all the shipping costs! This business is run by excellent craftsmen and even better people. I could not imagine having anyone else work on this project for me, and I know they will be the first number I call for any future projects. Thank you to Erin, Kurt, and Joe for such a lovely case and for being such wonderful people.”

“Such a great experience. We ended up going at the last minute. I was looking for one particular thing. I never saw crystals ..real geodes at the store. The pink amethyst had a price on it and one of the workers told me the price. I didn’t remember it. Ms. Terry asked what was going and told us not to worry about it and that she would figure it out. She took her time. There was no rush. When she came back she gave us an even better deal because of the troubles. She is such a kind and sweet lady. I’ll make sure to ask for her every time i shop there. Actually the best HomeGoods experience I’ve ever had. The cashier was also very nice and kind. I wish I could remember her name. Thank you so much ?”
“Beautiful and relaxing are the words that come to my mind when I first stepped into the store. I’m glad I stumbled across this hidden gem. Very friendly lady that welcomed me to her store. I told her I could just hang out for 30 minutes to keep me calm. A lot of great Christian decorations for the home and was very reasonably priced. I definitely come back again.”

“Had an issue with a pickup order I placed, they grabbed the wrong items, had to return to store. The guy that helped me, tall male with dreads, was awesome, looked for the items I’d ordered when I couldn’t find them, honored the sale price on the original items I’d ordered when they ended up being out of stock and I picked something else. Literally no complaints about the service I received. I looked for a survey on the receipt but didn’t see that as an option so I came here.”

“Line is always ridiculous, but the crazy part is no matter what everybody could have every single hanger off, every piece of clothing they'd still try to blame the line on the customer yelling at the same message.Have your payment ready and take the hangers off the shirts lol just hire 2 more people that's how this problem is fixed ?”
