I will update my review after I receive my car.Update:Well I finally received my car 3 days after, their words "worse case scenario" the following Monday. They refused to put the push bumper on saying that it would require, too much additional body modification, so they subtracted $100 off the bill. Which struck me as odd since I had owned the same year, make and model and the push bumper came off of the last car. (I was rear ended). So I waited to finish this review after taking it to the body shop down the street from me to see if they could manage to fit the push bumper back on. And they did! and it fit perfectly! with out any modifications! So basically they didn't want to even bother taking the off the bumper cone. To not only install the new push bumper, but even to take the old brackets off! They just painted right over them.I came in Tue 3/5, to just get my car painted with no major body work to be done.I was concerned about the YouTube reviews, Yelp and Google reviews about Maaco in general and specifically this location at 2165 Skibo Rd in Fayetteville. Even letting her read the review on Google's popular Maps App, About them being notorious for taking cars in and not even working on them for days! When I would prefer an honest answer and schedule an official appointment.Rachel assured me that was the old staff and not to worry. BTW, a red flag should have gone off when I heard a manager coaching her to not turn down a job, from a call she just received! He said to her, it's better to have more cars stacked. So I asked when could they take me in? She proudly said that she could take me in and start working on it tomorrow! 3/6 Wed! Which is great since it is a new used car for me that I need to have other things done to it like an inspection to get my car registered, among other things that I have to do, like dark medical grade tint for my Blepharospasm disability. She told me the car would be done next Wednesday best case scenario or maybe sooner. Or Friday worse case scenario. So I decided to take her word and drive all the way back from Fayetteville back to my friend's house in Angier 42 miles. And then 42 miles back the next day Wed to drop it off. Then she booked and charged me for a 42 mile Uber trip to my friends house in Angier.I guess it may be helpful note that I am disabled. I recently lost my voice about 10 years ago and I need to have to talk / type with my phone. So we'll see how they handle working with people with disabilities?Latest update 3/14 Thur, yesterday I received an email from their GM, that my car is not done on their best case scenario of 5 business days, and that there is a staggering 30 cars ahead of mine waiting to be fixed and he said, "I can not give you a definitive timeline for completion of your vehicle. If you would like, you are more than welcome to come pick up your vehicle." All the while reminding me of the $62 Uber bill, not taking into account my three 42 mile one way trips to their location and now my 7 days of missed work.I'll keep you post on their promises. The completed review is at the top. If you take your car to them or similar shop, be very wary off when they say they can 'fit you in'. They flat out lied to me and said sure bring it in tomorrow and we will start working on it. When I emailed her about a question about my car five hours later, she was kind enough to include a picture. And I should have known something was up, when the car was not even moved! Ask how many cars are ahead of you? I was later told they were working on 30 other cars!! They make you initial / sign that the promised finished date means nothing. I would highly advise omitting that declaration. FYI. Best of luck.

I really recommend Macco off of Skibo Road. Rachel knew exactly what I wanted and the outcome was exactly what I wanted. They delivered exactly what they said they would. What else can you ask for? Thank you. I highly recommend.

The people at Maaco in Fayetteville were great and did everything they promised! Our vehicle was in need of a new paint job because of problems with the clear coat and scratches on the hood.We are not planning on keeping this vehicle longer than another year or 2 and did not want to spend a tremendous amount on a new paint job. We had checked with several places and Maaco was by far the best price. They completed it in the time frame they said they would and the vehicle looks great!! We will get our money we spent back and then some with what we will be able to sell or trade in the vehicle for down the road. I would recommend them if you want a good job for a good price!

Just got my Truck back and had a couple issues. When I did the walk around on my truck with the girl I specifically asked her if they could take a dent out of my bumper and to ensure they take off the camper shell to paint it and the back of my truck, which she said they could do and wrote all this down in the quote we agreed upon that included painting the whole truck and cleaning the headlights up. Two days later after my scheduled appointment I had to go back to Maaco to drop off some chrome side view mirror covers they said they would put on for me and when talking with Austin (I guess the manager) I asked him about my truck which he replied thaey hadn't started on it. So I walked out with Austin to where my truck was and went over everything with him in which he was not aware of taking off the camper shell and was planning to paint around it. I told him the plan that I discussed with the girl who did my quote included taking the camper shell off painting it separately and theback area of my truck for uniformity. He replied, "we'll have to charge you an extra $60 to do this". I said no problem. So a eight days goes by and my truck is ready for pick-up, but the problem is they have my truck out side in the rain. As everyone knows you want to inspect their work in a dry area because it's hard to tell how the paint has settled in the rain. So, I asked if they could let me inspect my truck inone of their bays and Rachel told me no. I could plainly see a bay that I could have used to pull my truck in to inspect where she replied they were getting ready to use it even though there wasn't a vehicle in it. So I sId fine and went out into the rain with my wife and inspected the vehicle to the best of our ability. We noticed during the inspection the dent in the bumper wasn't fixed and they explained to usthe girl who gave us the quote for fixing it didn't know any better and shouldn't have said that. We also noticed that the security lock for the bumper to access my tire did not have thesecurity lock in it and now therewas an exposed hole there. They agin said they couldn't get the security lock situated in theslotmade for it without getting the key stuck in it. Funny, I got this in with no problem at home. So after being pissed on by the rain we said it was enough and we guessed the paint job was good enough paid for the vehicle went home. The day after I noticed my driver left fender side F-150 emblem was missing with just the two sided tape still on the vehicle. I called Maaco up and talked with Austin about this and told him it was missing and wasn't sure if it was or wasn't put on at their shop because we were rushed with conducting our inspection in the rain and were more concerned with looking at the paint job annd the body work the did on our vehicle. Austin explained to me he personally put all the F-150 emblems on and I honestly said you may or may not have because the fact is one was missing. I was getting ready to tell him it may had fallen off when traveling back home in the rain, in which we live 55 minutes away. But Austin started getting upset on the phone befire I could say anything and asked me me if I was calling him a liar. I said no but the fact is thedriver side emvkem was missing and I asked him if the would replace it in which he said no, because I initialled off on the agreement that states Maaco is not responsible for this part while they have the vehicle. The priblem with this Maaco location is definitely poor management who aren't training their employees on the cans and can't dos for the customer and then writing up an agreement with said customer and then electing not to do what they say they're going to do until after the job is done. Again the paint job is Okay but the customer service especially not allowing us to use one of their open bays to inspect our vehicle and having us do this in the rain is unacceptable. Poor management and not promising what they can do. I will not refer this Maaco loc

I schedule an appointment with the shop to leave my car for repairs back in May 31, 2023. The job on my car didn’t start until many days later. I had to call before I went to pick it ip to verify it was ready and they said the parts were not even there. They didn’t have the politeness to call me and inform me that I had to be without transportation for who knows how long. Without consideration that I had a rental to return promptly. When I returned to pick up my car I immediately noticed that the bumper was not placed properly since there was spacing between where the light and bumper, and the door and the bumper meets. I was told to return the next day to get it fix, which I did. Before I left the car to get fix, I noticed there were some screws missing and it was not properly latched under the bumper. When I returned once again, the uneven of the bumper got fixed on one side but it got bad in another area. The manager said there was nothing else they could do. I wanted to cry of the frustration because how much time I wasted with this shop. Lastly, a couple days later I realized my car had a missing part. I didn’t even try to get it from the shop because I knew it was going to be worthless. I got a quote from another shop on the part and I was told I had to replace the whole door because the part was not sold individually. They lack outstanding customer service and the mechanics don’t have attention to details. The first picture shows the part that supposed to have. The second picture shows the part missing in the passenger side. This part protects against dust, debris and water. Also, while driving you can hear the wind filtering through that area.

Otis and Austin are what make the experience, less stressful and kind of fun to come into because you feel like family. They make sure you understand what you're getting done, that you're confident with what you're being offered to be completed by the technicians and it's just a home town feel... I think what was most important was they let me ask every question I could, and even if it wasn't the right one they made sure I understood the question I was trying to ask. thanks guys Maaco absolutely articulates customer care. That's MACCO for short.
