One Main Financial is an amazing group of people. Unfortunately life has twisted me up since 2015 with an unexpected curse and long lasting storm in my financial life. I am on my 3rd loan with One Main Financial who has seen me in dispare to freedom financially. The Fayetteville, North Carolina Office has helped me live a better more successful life. Thank you Raul and everyone at the Fayetteville Branch! You all ROCK!

Let me start by saying that this review comes from the result of only ONE experience with ONE employee and unfortunately that specific employee was the manager at this location(Manager R.)I refinanced my vehicle with this company about a year ago. Times have been hard for everyone and I became behind on my payments, I was about 2 behind. The loan officer that I secured my loan with, as well as several other employees were friendly, helpful and understanding. Even the manager in question had been very helpful in the past, so I am not sure what caused his unprofessional attitude during today's phone call.In an attempt to keep this brief (which I may have already failed at) I am going to now explain the reason for this poor review; to put it plainly, it is a lack of professionalism and respect.I recently traded in the car that I had financed with this company. I informed Manger R. of this trade on the day that it happened. As I mentioned before, I was behind 2 payments, so when I called to inform Manager R. of the trade, he asked if I could make a payment on the vehicle. Of course, I said that I would not be making a payment because I no longer possessed the vehicle and to contact the dealer (who also contacted One Main on the day of the trade) who bought my car & would be satisfying the loan balance. This was about 2 weeks ago and the conversation was quick and pleasant. Now fast forward to today: I received a call from Manager R. again. First he started asking me for payoff dates, which I would not have, I am not the car dealer. After, he again tried to persuade to make a payment on the traded vehicle, promising a refund after the vehicle loan payoff was made. I said 'no." after further conversation, he started to snidely ask me to explain my past financial hardship (which is no longer his concern), explained to me, in a coercing manner, that my credit and ability to borrow money would be severely affected. I told him that I had made my peace with that as my credit is a work in progress. Now, this is what is UNACCEPTABLE: apparently, Manager R. did not like the payoff date range that the dealership had previously given him. I only found out today, AFTER Manager R. spoke with the dealership, that a welcome interview was necessary with the new vehicle's financing institution before they would release the funds to close this entire loop paying the new dealership who would then in turn pay One Main Financial. Manager R. spoke with the dealership BEFORE I spoke with the dealership, which led me to contact the new bank to complete the welcome interview. I returned Manger R.'s call afterwards, explaining what I recounted above and he had the audacity to IMPLY THAT EITHER THE DEALER OR MYSELF WAS LYING about the situation. This is highly unprofessional and disrespectful.Listen, I do not care if 50 people prior to me lied to you; be cautious with the 51st, not disrespectful. Just as each loan agreement is different, so is each person and each situation. This manager does not personally know me; I can count on one hand how many times that I have dealt with him via telephone and have never dealt with him in person . Making assumptions and hurling a baseless accusation is ridiculously unprofessional and highly disrespectful. If you choose to take a loan from this company, DO NOT go to this location, as its manager does not have the appropriate professional demeanor for complicated situations. Save yourself the unpleasant interaction.

The lady at the front desk was very disrespectful and unprofessional. She treated me with disrespect instead of asking and explaining to me what was required she then goes ahead and calls and her co workers and yells across the room like I'm a kid.She wants everyone to know my business,if that's the case I would walk in and announced on speaker ?

The amount of phone calls and having to keep explaining your situation over and over because they don't leave notes is ridiculous. Was not even really behind on payments like one month I made a deferred payment and the next month I split the payment but it was paid. They kept blowing up my phone and asking me "when when" can I make the payment they needed a date so all I can insist is that it will be made when I get paid and I swear I checked to see how much I owe to see why they keep blowing me up because I knew it wasn't that fair behind and it was a 100 and something dollars ridiculous. Not even 30 or 60 days behind and you getting excessive harassment over payment. I will be reporting to the BBB and they all at this branch is not bad but there is one female there that is rude and nasty and won't work with you. Definitely will be refinancing away from this company.

HOT GARBAGE!!! They will send you pre approvals and when you apply, it a different story. I have a loan with these con-artists and I received a pre-approval. I applied and was told that they couldn't apply the amount that i requested to my current loan,. Well they wanted me to put another lien on another vehicle I owned when they could have simply added the amount to my current loan. Don't apply for a loan from these pirates, you will do better to go to a credit union. They have better rates for personal loans.

I was glad to contact them and and put in the application, got approved for 1500 for home renovations but then when i called back today it was we dont have a budget and you need a co-signer. Obviously they are communicating with the reps who take applications over the phone. I've don't business with you all before and I was disappointed in the response that i received after being told it was approved. For future reference please update your system to match what the customer is being offered. Thanks Rosa at the Raeford RD location for your time and they rep from the phone app yesterday had me thinking I was approved to move forward.
