Worst customer service ever. You cant talk to anyone other than the rep that answers the phone. PODs driver damaged my home on 8/28/23. I had to pay to repair the damage myself and as of 9/30/23 I still have not been reimbursed for the cost. I have made numerous calls and sent numerous emails. I was told there is no number to reach the claims department and that supervisors do not have phones. The rep relays the message to the supervisor and they decide whether it important enough to talk to the customer. I have never heard such nonsense. Totally disgusted, aggravated and disappointed with PODs company.

I called for a moving quote. The representative told me I would need to put a card on file in order to HOLD the quote and that my card would not be charged. Just hold it until I decided what to do.Next thing I knew a pod I was not expecting showed up at my door. They charged me cancellation, delivery fee, and one month’s storage.

I had a great experience using PODS for our move across country. Everything went smooth. Great customer service. Highly recommended.

Very easy set up. Easy, contactless initial pod drop off. Didn't need to be there for pick up. Nothing to sign. All online. They do charge for transportation before the initial empty pod drop off.

Everything about this company is terrible. Initial phone call was great. I'm currently on the phone for the 3rd time with a wait of over 90 mins. They false advertise everything on their website. Not flexible at all and they're telling me that I have to wait almost 30 days for the container to be picked up. Absolutely the worst for moving.

The pod, the delivery, and the pickup were all good but I had to pay for an additional month I didn't need it because the pickup window was so far out.

We were assured that we would get our full weight tickets as soon as possible (military move). We reached out to customer service who said that they should’ve been uploaded by now and they’re unsure why they haven’t been. We were told to wait 3 more days. It’s stressful after reading reviews that people have had issues with weight tickets so we are hoping to get this resolved as the rest of our experience has been good so far.

PODS ease of moving your container from one place to another makes moving in a new home less stressful. There outstanding customer service, response to a scheduling and quick execution has allowed my family and I the enjoyment of moving into the home. Thank you

The initial phone call to get information and schedule the POD was great. Every customer service interaction following that was less than stellar. Phone associates were rude and really unhelpful with a PIN that they recorded as inaccurate. Another we could varely understand as their foreign accent was so heavy! The driver who brought the POD did not place it how we'd asked for it to be placed during the scheduling process. Even after we reminded him of what was originally agreed upon, he essentially told us to take it or leave it. So it blocked half of our driveway for the few weeks we had it. Being up against deadlines - we felt we had no choice in the matter. Based on our experiences we would not recommend using PODS to our family and friends. As a military family stressed with buying and selling homes in this economy, and moving, we expected so much more from this company. Left disappointed and underwhelmed.

The price was a huge issue. Once it was time to store items the price increased 100 dollars and then when I got it delivered I had to pay a full months of storage plus $100 delivery fee which totaled over 300 dollars and I only had the pod until the 17th because that’s the only day the could pick it up

We recently used PODS for our first DITY military move across the country. We had heard great reviews from friends and our initial call to set the POD up was easy and the agent was very knowledgeable. I was 8 months pregnant at this time and we were looking forward to what should have been an easy move.Everything went horribly wrong after the POD was dropped off at our residence. On the actualPickup day, no one came to get the POD. I called customer service that night and was told it was picked up. The agent repeatedly questioned if it was still outside our house, which it was since I was looking at it! The driver had associated a weight ticket with the POD that was NOT OURS and uploaded it to our account. After several hours on the phone, the agent then SUSPENDED our account in an attempt to show the pickup had not been completed. It took THREE ADDITIONAL days to get any answers about when the POD would get picked up because it was showing that it was taken care of. We had family who had purchased plane tickets and rental cars to help unpack at our new house since I would be unable to help very much with the pregnancy. We had movers already booked for the following day. Each time we called for an update, we had to recount the whole story all over again because it was showing that it was in transit, even though it was still outside our house. we were not given any updates from the facility who was supposed to pick it up and I couldn’t see anything in our online account because on the customer side, it was suspended. It took three days of calls to get our documents recovered and reuploaded for our records. I spent nearly three hours on the phone each day trying to get any information.SIX days after the originalPickup date, it was picked up, where it sat at the storage facility for two more days before it started the drive across the country.Once it arrived, we needed the weight tickets to be reimbursed for the military move and saw that when it was finally weighed at our original state, the driver had the whole truck and empty pod weighed, so our weight tickets didn’t match. The customer service agent I spoke to told me there was not a uniform system in place for weighing the PODS. We had to be on hold AGAIN for three additional hours to request a weight ticket of the empty pod be conducted once it was picked up at our new house.I am so disappointed. Family lost money on plane tickets and car rentals that were cancelled. I had to unpack our house 8 months pregnant; 9 months by the time everything was settled. We had to pay more money for a different moving company because our original company was unavailable once it did get to our new house. Customer service agents did the best they could but the system was horrific—literally every phone call I had to recount what was wrong and direct themTo to the call log, wait ten minutes while they got caught up, then be put on hold while they called for clarification. We will never use PODS again and will not recommend to any of our military friends. Military moves are stressful enough as it is, and this was the worst experience we have had to date. We had a friend move from the same base and her POD was also messed up, showing that a full 3 bedroom apartment only had 600 pounds of weight. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I entered an agreement with pods on September 14th 2022 in Port Arthur Texas for a container to be dropped off at address in Port Arthur Texas and that I would pay 195 a month for the storage of container being picked up back out of my driveway full of family belongings on October 1st and to be taken to secured storage facility in Beaumont Texas where it would be kept until I decided if I wanted to empty it or have it transported for the amount of $1,700. I just now 10 minutes ago found out the address where my pod full of my belongings is it is in Fayetteville North Carolina where I've been told I will have access to it Monday through Friday we will see right now I'm being told that I owe cards moving company and storage company 2700 Plus storage fees in the amount of $300 as far as I'm concerned they took my things and misplaced them. They breached contract they are in the wrong and I'll be damned if I pay a dime until I have seen my pod with my belongings intact and then as agreed 14 days later I will pay $195 for a month's storage if I decide to leave my things in them first I have to get someone to go out make sure that my pod and my belongings are still intact and as was on the very day that you picked it up out of my driveway in Port Arthur Texas. The gentleman seemed like he did not know what he was doing they can't seem to transfer me to any department except collections I do not owe you any thing you owe me an apology and a zero balance you owe me your end of a fiduciary duty and obligation that you entered into in September someone needs to make this right I think I'm being pretty nice not to file criminal and civil charges/suit in court and with the authorities because as far as I'm concerned on October the 1st when you picked up that pod you stole my things and misplaced them and as long as this is not made right you are in possession of stolen goods and the amount in that pod is a felony now you can go after whoever messed you up and had you ship it all over the country but I kept up my end of the bargain I kept up my end of the legal binding contract I entered with your company in September and as far as I'm concerned I will continue to legally uphold my end of this contract and I will by any means necessary make sure that if you do not hold up your end of this contract and continue in the disregard of it that you will be held liable for your broken obligations to me and my belongings. And a little bit of advice if you are going to be holding and securing people's precious cargo and belongings and family heirlooms and their lives in these boxes I suggest you find a different method than this Mickey mouse b******* operation that y'all are currently using to ensure that no one else's irreplaceable valuable items are ever again shipped 1100 miles away from where they intended for it to go when they signed contract and paid you money.

Informed POD that I was not able to be home for the delivery and where to place the POD in my driveway. Juan called to confirm where I needed the POD placed and did exactly what I instructed.

Okay this is a long story but I'll keep is short. August 26,2022 my storage was to leave San Diego. I got to NC Sept 2 . My car from another company got my car here fast. My PODS got here October 4 but no one let me know when it got here. Now they quoted me $4,498 but I ended up paying $$5,384. They will steal your money and charge you storage fees when it's supposed to be in transit. The representatives are clueless. No one could help me after calling several weeks. One guy named Kendall was very helpful. They say they will contact you from their claims representative but still to this day no one has called me. BBB website is full of negative reviews from this place. AVIOD THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Do reviews before. My stuff was not temp controlled. AVOID AVOID AVOID
