After reserving a one way utility trailer 4 days in advance, on the day of pickup I was told that this location has never had a one way utility trailer. They were kind and found another location 30 minutes away to pickup the trailer in Dunn, NC. I called halfway up to the location, and the location was closed the entire week. I was told to call U-Haul. I spent 30 minutes waiting for a person, then to be told another 20 minutes later that there is not an option within 2 hours. I gifted the lawn mower I was trying to haul to the neighbors. Not worth over 2 hours of struggle. I would expect stock to be verified when booked in advance.

Worst customer service ever! Now I know why I switched to Penske five years ago. I made an appointment two weeks ago for a hitch install on my truck for a quoted price of $127.00. When I showed up on the day of the appointment, I was told that my reservation was canceled by a store associate. After back and forth with the rude woman behind the desk, I finally got them to agree to install the hitch; however at 3 times the original quote I had received in my email 2 weeks prior. Rudest lady I’ve ever met in a customer service role. She did not even attempt to make it right; just blatantly said they would not install the hitch. If I owned this UHaul franchise, I would fire her. She has no business in a customer service role. I wonder how many other customers she has drive away with her snarky attitude. Stay clear of this joint. If you are military, go to another location.

I reserved a 20’ truck weeks in advance, the day of pick up I went to the counter and Walt had to call the previous renter since they had not yet retuned the tuck I reserved. He informed they would return the truck in 30 minutes (of course that was not the case). I had requested to pickup the truck at 7:30 and movers scheduled for 8:30. There was two individuals in line when I arrived at 7:13 they both had issues with their reservations so I did not make it to the counter until 7:48. After being told the truck I reserved had not returned Walt said they did not have any more 20’ or 26’ trucks in the area. But a 26’ truck Could be seen sitting right out the window so I asked “what’s wrong with that truck” to which he responded “that’s an in town truck” (my request was for a one war truck). So I asked can I get that truck and bring it back but do not charge me for the miles back Walt told me “no that’s an in town truck”. After about 15 minutes of standing at the counter with no solution and movers en route Kim walks over and says give her that truck (the one that could be seen out the window) credit her for the miles back and give her an extra day and don’t charge her for it. I highly recommend arriving early to this location since the Walt moves extremely slow and normally only one person works the counter so the line can get long plus there are issues with reservations. Thank you Kim for your assistance that day if it wasn’t for your help my move would have turned out to be an even more expensive and drawn out process!

This was definitely the worst experience I've had in my entire life while moving. I completed the entire process online and was quoted $1200; I accepted the amount and moved forward. When I got the the bread location Javier was unable to read my reservation. He requested assistance from another guy (bald, white, gray beard) who told me they have my equipment but another location has the supplies I added on my order. The bald guy then gets an attitude and begins to bad mouth me because I was frustrated that my reservation was unable to be completed by one U-Haul location. Javier also told me they would not assist me with putting my vehicle on the trailer unless I paid them $20 more. This now brings my total to almost $1500. After being inconvenienced and disregarded I called Penske. Penske completed the same order in 5 minutes by phone and saved me $400. I asked u-haul to cancel my order and provide proof that the complete order was canceled I was told there was nothing they could give me. I demanded something in writing to ensure that I was not charged. I was given a printout with no name, no reference number, no amount to be refunded. I am 100% disappointed with U-Haul. Thank you Penske for assisting this military family when u-haul failed us completely.

Been here a few times. This time was great because we did everything through the app. So had no contact with any person there except one guy who had to get the keys.Uhaul must have just been returned as the floor was a bit wet and the back had some tree debris in it. Overall good experience

They changed our pick up location without telling us, then we cancelled our reservations with the new place since we didnt know about the new place. Such a mess!

I called after Hurricane Florence came through. I expected the possibility they may be closed. The first day they were. (Note: I called their number. The call rolls over to UHaul basic customer service/answering service. The woman that answered answered when I asked if they were opened today that they open at 9am[obviously she's located in another time zone]. I made the call at 10:30am -1 1/2 hrs after suppose to be opened. I only said “Oh okay, wasn't sure since this area was hit by Florence & there is do much flooding in the whole area]didn't even say more[chuckling in my head]...)
