“When I came home from work last night I found my dog in respiratory distress. We rushed her to western Carolina regional animal hospital. After some testing and hard discussions with the team we had to make the gut wrenching decision to let our girl go. The entire team was absolutely wonderful. Cinnamon and Dr. Z explained everything to us and never made us feel pressured to do anything we were not prepared to do. It was an awful situation, but I am thankful for their compassion.”

“Nice, old-fashioned, wise country vet. You won't have to put a second mortgage on your house with these kind folks, unlike most vets these days. They don't insist on unnecessary tests or procedures. Will definitely return with our cat.”

“I've brought all 3 of my dogs in to Apple Valley. I've had multiple vets when I've gone but one Dr was extraordinarily great with my dog Nellie. She was so positive and cheery. I think I want her to see my dogs every time I come. Thanks, The Funky Bunch(Adam, Nellie, Cassady, & Tar'a!)”

“This hospital fit us in when no one did. I called eleven other facilities before this team offered to help. Brittney at the front desk was so kind and made sure she tracked down the records needed. Despite being super busy Dr.Jones never made us feel like an inconvenience and he took his time explaining our options and the procedure our pet needed. They were kind, compassionate, and did a wonderful job! When our pet went home they printed out a really sweet certificate and included a detailed and thorough follow up. I’m extremely pleased with our experience!”

“The team here is top notch. my dog is a bit extra- she's extra large and part Malinois. From beginning to end our recent experience was perfect. Elaine helped coordinate everything. She came in the side door, the team kept her low key and the Dr. Roodenburg went slowly and casually with her exam so anxiety stayed low. Even bloodwork was smooth. We found our medical team! Local, affordable, and so kind. I can't recommend Mills River Animal Clinic enough.”

“Dr.Pisani and his team have cared for our animals for many years. They have always been professional, punctual, communicate well and genuinely kind and caring for our two dogs and cat. Prices are reasonable and Dr.Pisani was always clear with costs before treatments. We've had wellness checks, microchips and one time our pup needed a tooth extraction. I highly recommend them.
