Outstanding customer service! Ja'son and Stefano were extremely helpful when we had an issue with our car; they went above and beyond to get us an equivalent replacement. Would definitely recommend.

I love Alamo and always use them. This time we left our phone in the car, even though we ran back within minutes the car was gone. We ran around a bit, but had to catch our flight. We waited until our layover and pinged the phone. It was still there, at the airport. I will say that we struggled to get a hold of anyone, that part was difficult. The Alamo phone tree is BRUTAL. We did finally get a contact, Will. We appreciate Will so much, he handled our manic panic with grace and found the phone. He got it in the mail and we are hoping that it arrives any minute. Thank you Will, and thank you Alamo!

After our rental car from Hertz had mechanical issues and was no longer drivable, we were stranded in Asheville and working against the clock with a flight out of Charlotte in a few hours. Stefon (apologies if the name is spelled incorrect) from Alamo was able to get us in a car to Charlotte and he saved our Christmas. The whole process took about 5 minutes. He’s the MVP of Alamo and I suggest asking for him if you are in a bind. Thanks again Stefon and we appreciate you helping us get home!

Went as smooth as it possibly could... Alamo counter in airport, new model vehicle, clean, all paperwork and charges completed in advance. Return was just as smooth. Both checkout and return representatives were extremely helpful, and professional.

This was my first car rental through Alamo. Everything from picking up the Jeep Compass to returning it went smoothly and efficiently. When we arrived in Asheville to pickup our rental at the airport, there was no line and the representative handled everything efficiently and we were on our way in less than 15 minutes. Since we would be returning the car before Alamo opened, we were instructed to leave the car in an open spot and drop the keys in the slot at the desk. We received a paid receipt by email within 1 hour after return. Great experience.

I've never booked through Alamo previously, but our latest trip to Asheville was booked through a travel agent and this is what was included. The only issue we had was find the car itself since it wasn't in the same spot number as they told us, but quickly found it with the keys. Super easy to return just out in the parking lot as well. It was also nice that they only took my information since I had my credit card out and their policy is they just assume a spouse will drive the car- which saved time at the desk instead of needing to take both of our information. (we didn't take the insurance and didn't need it, thankfully- however with all the narrow, windy roads here I thought we maybe should have since I never felt I was so close to crashing more in my life... however I'm from ND where all roads are straight and flat lol so that was pretty different for me- so if you're not used to driving in the mountains I would maybe recommend insurance just in case)

I would like to give 5 stars but after being lied to, can't do it! We booked a car thru Delta Vacations, picked it up in NC & was dropping it off in Atlanta. When we picked up the car, nothing was said to us about a charge. The contract was folded nicely and we went on our way. When we dropped th car off in Atlanta, the gentleman who was very nice told us there was a fee. When I explained how I booked the car, he said he would make sure the charge was removed. He then showed me he was trying to remove the charge on his tablet but couldn't however, he would go inside to the computer & make sure it was removed. He never did. So the charge appeared on my credit card. I disputed it, couldn't. I emailed Alamo & called them, never received a return call nor did they respond to my email. This is HORRIBLE customer service! I would never rent from them again.

I had booked my parents a rental car through Alamo at Asheville airport. As my parents were traveling back from an international trip they did not have their physical credit card on hand. I had spoke with Alamo customer service to confirm if my fathers Apple credit card on his digital wallet would work as all the card details are visible from within the Apple wallet. I was told this would be okay and no issues would arise as this was a major credit card. At the Alamo desk at the airport the agents spoke very rudely to my parents stating “we don’t care what you were told when you called our customer service line we cannot help you”. They then called police officers to try and escort my elderly parents from the airport.Customer service should be trained properly to provide accurate information and agents should be trained to assist customers in a proper manner. This is very unprofessional and I would not recommend Alamo to anyone.

Long line, BUT it went fast. Hey, when you offer great value, you're popular. Warm greeting with prompt and professional service. Ray is fantastic! He upgraded our Malibu to a BMW sports utility. Go to Alamo if you want the best service.

Smooth, efficient, process returning car and extremely polite staff. Bit of a line checking in, but the staff seemed to be working hard to get through the recent flight arrivals.Previous rental at a different company at same location 3 weeks earlier had no cars despite reservation! So of course happy Alamo had reserved, clean car available.

I had a great experience with Alamo, up until I had an issue I needed help with. Unfortunately I left my house keys in the car I returned and didn’t realize until I had landed back in my home city. They are impossible to get a hold of. I tried multiple ways of reaching a person at the desk at this location and failed. They have a lost and found site that is outsourced to another company and full of error messages. When you call, you have to navigate several menus only to speak to a call center that directs you to the buggy website. I’ve been trying to get my keys back for two weeks— calling, emailing, going in the website almost every day— and all I have to show for it is an automated message saying my lost item report was received and I’ll be contacted if there are any updates.

Stefan was so polite when we dropped off our car. The check in and check out process was fast and easy. I would definitely rent a car from Alamo again..
