They NEVER leave our mail. We have to go to the post office in town 3-5 times a week to get our mail. The WORST post office service I’ve ever encountered. I HAVE NEVER RECIEVED A PACKAGE BECORE. Always notes in my box stating it couldn’t be delivered. Every time. Why? I ordered something from temu, the package was supposed to come to my door like all the ups and fed ex packages I get. I tried to use this mail service, they are holding my package at the post office now I have to drive 15 to 20 minutes to the post office just to get my mail that I paid out the booty on for shipping. What's even the worst part of it... I called the mail service and they claim that the reason it was not delivered is at the customer's request!!! I never requested this nor would I never ever in a million years allow such a thing, they said there was a gate or a road blockway, the road is not blocked by any means. Nor do I have a gate. There is no road blockage and now I'm having to go down to the post office because they won't answer the phone so I can tell them to redeliver it. If you can't deliver my mail that I paid for shipping on then by God you will give me a refund. This is unacceptable and unprofessional to have to drive to get my mail because they're too lazy to deliver it. Now I'm about to go in there and raise hell. That better not ever happen again also bewarethey do not have a phone number you can call they do not have a customer service they do not answer. There is nothing you can do this is the worst post office in male experience I've ever had in my life I hate this place already.

The worst post office ever, driver refuses to deliver packages which is in the job description. Don’t apply for a job and then refuse to do it. Super lazy employee, no resolve from the terrible Henderson county post master she is equally as lazy. Contacted a higher up in Charolette with next day resolve. Now we are back to not having packages and mail delivered all marked “held at post office”

Refuses to deliver packages. Makes irrelevant excuses as to why they're unable. No other delivery service has an issue delivering to our house. Multiple emails sent and no change. They don't care.

Updating this review based on recent events:
I recently had a package coming that was delivered to the wrong address. Long story short it turned into an entire ordeal of it being delivered back to a post office and lost.
The postmaster was incredibly helpful in getting it tracked down and updating me by phone every step of the way. Very kind woman who was genuinely sorry my package was lost. Package is now back on it's way to me.
As for the reviews mentioning delayed packages : The Fletcher Post Office doesn't deliver packages same day that arrive to them after 9 AM. If that happens your delivery will be moved up to the next day.

What happened? This used to be such a good post office. Now the counter ladies are too busy doing other work than waiting on customers, so you can stand and wait around or leave your package that they promise to scan, but won't. Laziness or incompetence?

The WORST post office ever! If I could give 0 stars I would. They continually refuse to deliver packages to us when they are too "large" for the mailbox. I have spoken to the Post Master several times and all she does is give ridiculous excuses and never attempts to fix the problem, cause she's "too busy". That's your job. They leave notes about the packages with lies on them like, "couldn't find the address", but everything has easy to read directional signs all the way to the house. OR "can't get traction on gravel", but obviously no attempt has been made, no spin marks, etc. Meanwhile a Prius can drive up and down just fine backwards or forwards. They just don't try and leave a lie as an excuse. You pay a ton of money to have something shipped to your address to reach YOU and instead they keep it because they're lazy and YOU have to go get it. That's called stealing; you pay for a service and don't get it. Whatever if the package is time sensitive and you needed it that day. They DON'T CARE.
