“We were here a couple of weeks ago for All American Week (2025) and I have to say I am not sure where some of these reviews came from. They actually had me nervous. We chose to stay at Carolina Inn. So many of the reviews were wrong! Man, what a nice place!! It was more like an apartment with stocked kitchen, a pass thru dining room that opens to a patio. Two full baths and shower pressure that will blow your skin off. The bed was so comfortable. You also have a separate living room area. I highly recommend staying at the Carolina Inn. We had breakfast every morning at the main hotel.”

This place was exactly that and more! What AI didn’t tell me and what made the experience even better was the customer service I was provided. As mentioned, I was in need of a break and called last minute to check availability. There were two rooms available and after explaining my situation and need, the representative recommended the Beijing room. It was PERFECT. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a bottle of wine and the most thoughtful handwritten note that was exactly what I needed to hear. This type of intentionality is hard to come by but truly goes so far.

I would absolutely recommend and have recommended this stay to anyone looking for a stay in Fayetteville. Hope to be back soon!”

“Not too bad. First pur room keys were not working l so that experience wasnt goof because we hauled pur stuff upstairs and then had to get that fixed. Next our carpets were wet when we got in the room and that created another issue but the hotel was able to move us to another room. Other than that not too bad.”

“This review is long overdue but I wanted to say thank you to the wonderful staff at the Fairfield Inn and suites in Fayetteville NC.My husband and I stayed there on our way to Florida this past February the 16-17th.We were greeted in such a welcoming way when we arrived! The check in process was very smooth and the agent at the desk had upgraded us to a suite. I’m sorry but I don’t remember his name.We also had such a wonderful experience at the bar. We were greeted by such a lovely lady named Anita. She has such a great personality and is a real people person. We felt like she was an old friend that we hadn’t seen in years. She was truly delightful! We were so impressed with our stay that we stayed there again on our return from Florida.Again we had such a wonderful experience and were so happy to see that Anita was working that night! She is very good at her job and a real asset to the Marriott family! We will certainly stay here again in our travels to Florida! Thanks again for such a wonderful experience!”

“I visited this location 21-23 FEB. Let me break down my experience. I am an army veteran with high anxiety/OCD. Interactions are EVERYTHING to me!

Breakfast: Now breakfast wasnt a 5-star restaurant quality & that shouldnt be expected at a hotel breakfast bar. However, it was a nice spread. You could definitely eat there every morning to start your day and not be mad at all. I just wish the coffee was better. I am a coffee snob lol
They also have a mini supermarket equipped with frozen meals, drinks, snacks & drinks.

Rooms: I shared a Double Queen Suite with my sister Rm 104 I believe.
The room was HUGE. I have stayed in many hotels. We had so much room it was ridiculous. It felt like a mini condo.
The bathroom was a decent size (I just wish it was a walk in shower). The kitchen area was appreciated. (Microwave/mini fridge & sink; with lots of counter space)
The living room area has a couch and chair. Like I said we had SPACE.

Service: Ms Toya, Judea & Eric were amazing. I dont think I had a question they couldnt answer. Coming from MD; the ease of conversation and the happiness of their attitudes were so appreciated. Stellar Staff!

Location: Okay so I gave this a 4/5. The hotel is tucked away. My GPS had me go past it a few times. They also have some outside construction going on; which makes it difficult to know if you are in the right place or not.

Parking: Even with construction there was plenty of parking and I never felt unsafe.

I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a piece of MIND!

Nearby activities: There are soooo many places to eat and drink near the hotel. It is a military town; so, it is equipped for family!!

“This new Candlewood Suites at Ft. Bragg is an excellent addition to the area. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and perfect for both short and long stays. The staff provides great, friendly service from check-in to check-out. Having a good breakfast available on-site made my mornings so much easier.”

“This place is absolutely lovely. The rooms are great. Full living room, kitchenette, a bathroom in the hallway that leads to a spacious and well furnished bedroom. Very clean and the management is wonderful here. She is very on top of things and makes sure to keep the riffraff away. There is a large courtyard that is well furnished with lawn chairs and even a few of the chairs you can lie down to tan on. Reasonably priced on site laundry and a little gym area with enough to get your workout in. I love how peaceful and quiet it is here. You rarely see anyone outside or in the parking lot. The manger is sweet as she can be but shes a no nonsense kinda gal and she means business! Def adds to the quality of your stay because you'll never see anything sketchy going on because if and when it does, she nips it in the bud right away. I will definitely be staying here in the future! By far the best hotel under $100 in Fayetteville!!!”

“This was a great choice for my family and I, for the purpose of attending a Fayetteville Tech graduation for a family member. The price was reasonable for two rooms and the location was very convenient to the city's Coliseum Complex where the graduation was held. I interacted with the staff (some of who was probably the owner or the owner's family) a couple of times and they were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely choose the same hotel again for future stays.”

“Hosted a ball here and let me tell you—this place is amazing! From setup to tear down, Mrs. Rowena and her staff handled everything flawlessly. All I had to do was provide the head count, meal selections, and payment. The staff stayed on top of every detail; anytime I asked for something, it was taken care of almost immediately. Their attentiveness and professionalism were a huge relief, especially since event planning can be so stressful.

“I visit frequently to this location for work being I own a few businesses here in the city. We are still here and rooms are under my name so to remain more anonymous I’m using my husbands account lol. So my husband and I come in and have had a few stays in this hotel before , but now we will continue to stay here and here only . Before we would kind of bounce around and see all that works best for us. Price, value, and most importantly, I feel what makes the stay is the service. From the door , to the room and back.
Front desk has always been nice. Nothing out of this world but overall easy and quick service with a smile . Housekeeping staff has always impressed me here . But this time , we were having the same girl quite a few times in a row that did an exceptional job . We know because She left sticky notes letting us know she was the one who serviced the room, and if we needed anything to find her (or anybody of course) And she completely left us with such a warm wonderful comforting feeling about this place . And it just so happened to be the same girl we met in the elevator at the beginning of our stay . Her name is Ashley ❤
- Back story , we love the breakfast here, so on our first morning here on our way back up from eating we were met through the back side of the elevator by one of the house keepers. My son was very very intrigued to know what was back there. So this housekeeper kneeled down to get down to his eye level, and whispered “something magical that makes this hotel shine the way that it does “ . lol it was the laundry room . Just her warm presence and cute little scenario she said to him made all of our day. It really did . We all got off on the third floor together , and I was picking her brain a bit on the hotel. And I’d say this girl has some business background or something because she’s very smart with the business aspect of how the departments all have to work on budgets and how to implement saving money and still giving exceptional service . I tried to recruit her , and she politely declined . I’ll probably try once again .

“Decided to take a quick teip.to Fayetteville to do some adventuring. TownePlcce is almost in the Sam's parking lot, had a Walmart and restaurants withing walking distance. Rooms are great with a decent kitchenette and a huge closet. Great service and I love they get the emploinvolved an have fun for the holidays. They have a mini Christmas tree decorating contest and there were some pretty creative trees. I like to workout when I travel and they had lower weights for women and tons of.free weights. It's cold outside, but looking at it, the outdoor pool looks nice. Good choice for my stay.”

“I only rated they stay so low because the hot breakfast we normally try to make sure we have in the mornings from hotels was want a joke and two very poorly stocked even from 6:00 a.m. till 9:00 a.m. it was pretty bleak our first day there. The next day wasn't that bad but they definitely ran out of food really fast for just having a truck arrive. They seem to be lacking in. Keep up with the breakfast areas and the food being stocked again. I go there first thing in the morning when I wake up and once again right before they close up just to make sure the kids have some munchies. And being the choice privilege customer that I am I've stayed at very nice choice hotels and some not so nice but breakfast is normally something that don't ever mess up. So yeah.”

“Very peaceful, staff is very friendly and helpful, maintenance handles things when needed and they offer you everything you need to cook with to get started rooms are spacious in the king suite for a family of 3-4 it’s comes with 2 tvs all your toiletries and linens and even do your laundry for you if needed this is a great location and I strongly recommend this location, they have a really nice pool area and grab n go breakfast”

“Stayed here a few weeks ago, Kiersten checked me in, super sweet gal loved her. Went to check out the next morning, i got to talk with Summer and the manager Melissa. I had called the wrong location earlier (i called the Fayetteville Fort Bragg location, not Spring lake) and was told i needed to pay a $25 cash fee for late check out. Summer immediately pulled me into Melissas office, i was told they do not charge a late check out fee, let alone in CASH. They could've taken advantage of me and didn't, instead they went straight into professionally handling it and trying to figure out who i talked to. if I'm ever back in the area I'm definitely staying at Spring Lake, not the other location. Thank you everyone for the great experience!”

“Live here off and on for two years me and my wife never had any probably with the owner or the staff dee the owner was always polite in anytime we needed anything always helped us in the housekeeper would always make sure we had everything we needed everyday and for all these people talking about bed bugs and roaches like I said I stayed there 2 years off and on and never had no problems with no bed bugs might have seen a few roaches every now and then but not no bed bugs and dee is a very respectable elderly man I seen some girl on here talking about he only likes Street girls that man is very respectful to everybody”

“It was like going back in time to an old Courtyard. Many have been updated but this one hasn't. Still has the older sign. Room was clean and staff were great. One downside is that they don't have the streaming apps on the TV and they were older tvs. Also, the shower was a nuisance, took a while to figure out how to get hot water. The knob was weird, kept turning. Close to plenty of restaurants and a brewery.
**UPDATE** Stayed here again....the rooms have been renovated and we'll done. My only complaint this time was the TV system hasn't been updated. No streaming services on the box. As well as, none of the the channels matched with the guide so finding what you are looking for is a challenge. They are currently still doing renovations. The bistro is only open for breakfast.”

“I've stayed there on several occasions and it's not as bad as some of the others have made it out to be... but then again I suppose some of the rooms are better than others, so perhaps some of the complaints are valid.
The location is good - the coffee shops, eateries, and bars, etc. located in little downtown Fayetteville are almost right outside your doorstop, all within walking distance(as is the liquor store. It's right across the street-- meaning you can have a few drinks and don't have to drive anywhere!). And the owners are super-nice.
On the other hand, theres a good bit of drug activity and prostitution in the area. And the place could definitely use an upgrade.
Given its location, and with all the upgrades happening downtown, this place has alot of potential...just needs a little work.
I'd stay there again if neccessary.
Update: I'm staying there again, it's quiet. Nobody's bothers me. I like the location. I wasn't given the best room but I know that they have some decent rooms, no complaints. And the lady Clerk is super nice ?”

“The manager on duty last night and as of this morning was such a big help and the lady that checked us in was such a big help as well. Everyone is extremely polite. They are working very hard and it is noticeable and appropriated. I wish there was a laundry room on site but I still gave a five-star just for the experience as well as the room being cleaned. The only complaint I have is that our floor could be clean better and mopped but other than that this has been a smooth experience.”

“I've had to stay at this Motel for an extended period of time. This place is convenient to shopping, gas, and food. The owners are very caring. (Language barrier of course) I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Rooms are very clean. Most of the rooms are spacious. There's 4 HBO channels. Fridge, microwave, A/C, table w/ 2 chairs. And you have your privacy as long as you're paid on time. 4* for the rooms because they aren't all the same size. 4* for location because it is on the HWY and it can get a little noisy. Overall I feel it's the best Motel in Fayetteville and the price is unbeatable for less stress and no headache!”
