Kim was very friendly. Wonderful customer service. Been a customer for years. Recommend it for anyone who needs a professional storage company. Units are clean and climate controlled perfectly.

We used a climate controlled storage unit at the facility located at the intersection of W Palmer and Forest Hills Drive right after new owners bought it, before they put in surveillance. It was affordably priced and they pro-rated (only at the start of the month). From the picture you can see that the buildings are two rows of storage units, doors facing inward towards each other. This setup makes activity not very visible. Which also made it a great place to have our stuff stolen from.

The new owners are amazing. The facility is super clean. I know the owners personally for several years and know they take care of their clients the best they can. They are honest and trustworthy people. I would rent from them over and over again!

After the fact, several things were odd about it. First of all, while unloading our things into it by myself (in retrospect that was really unsafe to be a lone adult) the "new owner" approached me with his tool belt on and with his big tool truck out front, and he asked to "measure" the inside of our unit (with the bulk of our stuff already there for him to scan over). I told him it was an 8x10 and wondered why he would need to measure it, but he said they had just bought it and didn't know if the measurements were accurate. Sounded weird but I let him--he was the owner, right? After that I had an unsettled feeling about it so I called the office to make sure it really was the owner. The lady said yes he was out there "checking on things". The lady had previously instructed us which type of lock was "most secure," or not likely to be cut. She knew the particulars of our reason for renting and timeline of our plan to be there. In shock at discovering our stuff mostly taken three weeks later, I called the business immediately to tell them there was a theft (and to her credit the receptionist said to call the cops) and so the owner who had measured the unit showed up "to check things out". In retrospect he said some things to me in front of the cops that would cast doubt in my mind and theirs about it and was also eves dropping on what was being reported to the cops. He said a lot of people don't put the lock in the right spot so that it was on the garage door but not locking it. I do not believe this is what happened because there were scrapes like from a tool on the front of the lock. Later, talking to the police department about what was stolen, the gal said it could take someone relatively little time if they were skilled to pick that lock even if is not easy to cut. I didn't see anybody doing this, but I know who has a lot of tools and would have an excuse for being at the storage units a lot. Even though before when it happened to me there were different owners, my friend who also moved from out of state a year earlier to Franklin and used this same storage location also had her goods stolen. It's just too coincidental. Surveillance now doesn't convince me of any more security.
