Friendly helpful staff. We were looking for a place to actually sift through the bag/bucket but they only sell to go bags/buckets. We ended up taking bags/buckets back to the cabin and shifting there. The kids had a great time. I was a little disappointed when we found a broken stone bowl in the bag.

So happy with the 3 rubies that they cut. They were able to maintain more carat weight than expected! One looked a lot like a ladybug, so I incorporated that into a ring design.

This was my first time coming to this shop and I will definitely be coming back and telling all of my friends to go. All of the employees were super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The selection and quality of products available surpassed my expectations. The store itself was also well maintained , cleaned, and organized.

This is amazing rock store and museum if you are in Franklin North Carolina I would highly recommend it. My brother found a bunch of ruby’s and left to be cut. The employees are extremely helpful and friendly. The museum is very cool having the biggest Amethyst I have ever seen weighing in at 800 pounds. There were lots of other cool rocks as well including arrowheads. Over all I would highly recommend.

Not just a gem shop you have to check out the museum for a neat history tour. The store is well laid out and has something for everyone. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Next time you're in Franklin NC please check out all the downtown stores and cafes.

Amazing place to get lost in with all the thoughts about the history of the gems, how old they are and where they came from! Beautifully displayed and well worth stopping! I also take my watches there for battery changes. The owners are great!

I was so impressed with Ruby City Gems & Minerals that I decided to make a youtube video about it as well as there Mason Ruby and Sapphire Mine. Not only do they make fantastic quality jewelry, but they also have the biggest selection of products that I have found in all my 68 years of traveling. Now for the hidden treasures in their store. They have a museum that is unbelievable.I can't say enough about the rockhounders paradise hidden there.Trust me, if you go anyway near and don't go in , you made a huge mistake.

As a avid collector, this shop has many specimens & gems that can be added to my already huge collection. Lots of unique stuff. I didn’t score this baby but man did i enjoy. I spent hours here today and the staff was so nice. I can’t wait to go back and see the museum … and buy more. ??

Be sure to go downstairs to see the 'museum '. There's a shrunken head and other 'rare' items from around the world. Great selection of crystals but a bit pricey. Staff was very friendly and informative.

My favorite part of this store was their museum in the back. It had humongous amethyst and all sorts of fossils and artifacts. They have mastodon teeth, petrified wood, ancient tools, butt loads of arrow heads, and more. The store itself is in two sections with herbs and display case items then another section with gems, rocks, tools, mood rings, and jewelry making stuff. We spent about 45 minutes in total and the kids bought some small trinket things. Very friendly staff and fun atmosphere. If you like gems and rocks, then this place is for you. And even if you don't like gems and rocks, it'll have something you find interesting. Or should I say, inter-rock-sting.

Although the store is fabulous, some items are very unique, their museum is great, the stores is not user friendly to families with kids - the owner repair jewelry man comes out of his little area like if someone is robbing the store, very creepy been in the store with my children when we visit and he must think purist are thief because he doesn't do it to the locals just a very uncomfortable feeling, not user friendly. A great deal of stone and science to fascinate youth . But because of the man I can only give it one start
