I get it, it’s 2024 and we should use technology, but under no circumstances should I have to self checkout $400 worth of groceries with about 40-50 items. Poor customer service. I’ll probably switch to one of the other wholesalers when it’s time to renew.

We got our membership today. Debbie was working at the counter and got us all set up and gave us all of the information that we needed. She even took the effort to call after the fact to remind us that the membership we got on sale would be regular price when we renew! We had already assumed that but It’s great that she took the time to think of us and make sure we got all of the information we needed. She is a wonderful lady and we are excited to shop here regularly for everything we need.

The bakery department is amazing. Had ordered a birthday cake from another bakery to find out last min my order was lost. Called over the phone gave a discerption of what I wanted. They exceeded my expectations and had the cake ready the next morning. Don’t know if the department will see this message however I thank you for your help. The 49ers birthday cake was amazing!

Don't use their tire service center. There's always 1 person back there somewhere. Never more than 1 person working at a time. Mechanic/counter person. 40 mins to get propane because he can't "leave the area"!!! What a joke. Another reason not to pay for a BJ's membership. Time to switch to Costco.

I like this location - it is convenient at the White Oak Shopping area near other stores such as Kohl’s, Target, Best Buy, Staples, etc. On the inside, they keep it pretty clean and organized and anytime I’ve asked for help, the team members have been kind and helpful. I’ve started to use their order ahead service recently and it has been convenient to drive up, go in and pick up. They do offer service to bring out the stuff to you, but depending on the time of the day it can be slower than going in to pick up. I also have to say I love the BJs app, they continue to make it better with clipping of coupons, adding to cart, and with express check out while at store by scanning with your phone (it is great when there are lines at check outs, though it is a bit crazy when I have 10 items and the associate has to scan all 7 items to verify my purchase on my way out).

Can't get a simple order finished from a offer they sent to me. Really would like to get my membership fee back.

Get rid of the ISP/Cell Phone sales rep that are on the floor. I'd like to shop here once a week (I pay for a membership after all) without being harassed.

This particular BJ'S in Garner is great. They usually have everything I'm looking for. In addition, they still have cashiers that help you check out.

As far as budget shopping goes, BJs at White Oaks is good value. We've saved $1,100 in one year and that more than covers the membership. Coupons are available via the app which is a time saver. A bucket of the home brand laundry powder lasts 3-4 months and that's about a 75 percent saving on liquid detergent from supermarkets, even when they're on sale. It does the job as well as if not better.

Update 07/11/2023I had to reduce from 5 to 4 stars for the long time the gas station has been unattractive, almost all structure is moldy, there is always 2 pumps down, excessive trash in the containers, maintenance is a big issue hereupdated 11/7/2021Since the new self checkout cashiers were installed, the checkout process has become a solved problem, also they installed a WiFi service for the customers, giving them 5 star from previous 4 star rating left 3 years agoEverything in this place is great except by the cashiers (most of them), store hours is just great, open on most holidays while competitors are closed, the only fly in the ointment comes when you need to go through the check out process, most of their cashiers lack of training and experience they get stuck when something out of the ordinary comes up, try to use the self check out sometimes is unavoidable when you have cases of juices, water or wine...hope Bjs do something about it

I was at BJs on 06-07-23. I had to use a self checkout BJs is taking selling techniques from the local Sleaze Bag Used Car Dealers. They force you to use the self checkouts because the only have one cashier. They sneak a prompt to automatically renew your membership. My membership expires this November I won't be renewing my membership at BJs (AKA)The SleazeBall Used Car Dealer in Garner. Check your receipts for this underhanded technique. It's no wonder why they have NO customers yet when we go to Costco they are always busy.

BJ is so under-rated here in NC . It is always empty, and honestly, BJS does have a great selection of Name brand items in bulk, sams and costco could never. My only gripe is the ones located in the triangle they don't offer a lot of different items like they do in Ny/NJ/Pa DONT FORGET TO check the expiration date on EVERYTHING. BJS has so much room for improvement. Get away with the stupid coupon gimmic and quality. Check the items' expiration date. I would hate to see Bjs closed down.
