This was a tough call between giving a one or two stars! The only reason I gave it the extra star is because I do like harbor freights products, as well as prices (most of the time). However I'm beginning to believe that in order to get a job on their staff at both of the two locations I've been to..... Be extremely rude, non-helpful, and combative when you ask them a question. With the exception of two ladies that were helpful at the Garner store..... The rest need some serious lessons in customer service and just plain old human decency. Especially the guy I asked simply do they carry any kind of cable that would connect two power stations together to make them run as one power station. And then I proceeded to get yelled at, maybe not yelled but sternly got extremely loud with me for simply asking about a cord and that was it, just because they were sold out of power stations is not a reason to be rude to any customer.! Being upset that the company you work for sold out of an expensive object, would be like a projection instead of movie theater complaining about having to start a movie. Eventually people seeking a cheaper price will gladly play more to not be spoken to like that over asking a simple question. And the employees have spoken to with the exception of those two ladies, I see a bunch of people that do not care for the company they are trusted to help make flourish. Because if they did they went in jeopardize the cash flow by alienating customers over potential future purchases. What a pity! I've tried so so so many times to give this place a second chance, a third chance, add infinitum.

I called the garner store for someone to look up the status of my warranty and employee Lance was very rude and disrespectful. His tone and manners towards completing a simple, very doable task was unhinged!!! Luckily I was able to call another store and get the help needed that Lance denied he was even allowed to do. Lance for sure lacks customer service in all aspects!

Website shows several in stock. I doubted this, so I called because I live a while away. As expected there wasn't any in stock. Your site information is useless.

I am so disappointed with this store. Some of my purchases were bad, a chainsaw with a broken oil reservoir, but I kept buying here. But last week I went for a paint sprayer, I asked for help, and the guy's suggestion didn't work. It seemed like he didn't know anything about the products he was selling. I had to go back the next day, asked for help again, and this time the supervisor, Joe, helped me. He suggested a larger compressor than the one I had already bought for the paint gun. I went back to continue working, and to my surprise, the compressor stopped working after 10-15 minutes. Another day lost, and I couldn't finish the job. The cashier called him for the return, and that's where the problem started. I was told I would have to forfeit 20% of the purchase price of the compressors. I wasn't willing to accept that. He said it was company policy. How can a customer not be able to return a product? He said I could only exchange it. Why would I want another one after all the problems I'd already had? Besides, there weren't any more of that type on the sales floor, but I just wanted to return it. He insisted he couldn't do it, that he wasn't authorized. I explained that I had worked in different stores for more than 20 years, and if the store manager wasn't there, someone with authority should be available to resolve problems. I confronted Supervisor Joe because the second purchase was his suggestion, and he had to attend to other customers, so he left us without a clear resolution. During the return process, he acted like he didn't know much about the product I wanted to buy. It was a long battle, and I ended up losing money. This experience taught me not to buy from Harbor Freight anymore. I hope my experience is helpful to others. Thank you.

This store is good for its tools. Not so much it’s cashiers that can’t seem to help find stuff, the workers that can’t seem to put tags or prices on items, or the cashier that just had a line of 15+ people waiting while she laughed and chatted on the phone. Then proceeded to tell me it’s my fault she can’t scan the items. This place is excellent, the workers need to take a little pride in their job.

Returned and repurchased items immediately while in store to avail the discount in app. Sales agent Josh did correctly in the first attempt and he is great too, but Heather the manager overtook the point of sale and purposely double billed one item . I only saw that once I left the store. SKU 94905 item was double billed. I felt that the manager Heather was unhelpful when I asked that I just realised I have discount in app and I felt this billing override mistake was purposeful. However sales agent Josh was great.

I asked for a single piece 21mm 1/2 inch impact socket, staff said they have set only and no single piece but i found it in the front isle and bought it.
