Prices are great but at check out there is never any help at the self checkouts and only one register open. Self check out person walked away to help open second register leaving self check out unwatched by anyone. Great way to get stolen from. Had to leave self check to get us and the other customers waiting some help

August 7, 2024 12:50 pm. I went into the store to by cookies. They didn't have bakery bags with the clear plastic strip were you could see inside the bag. So the customers were using the green light weight produce bags. I had double the green bags with two macadamia cookies inside. Then someone brought out the proper brown bags. So, then put the cookies in the brown bag with clear stripe thinking more freshness. When I got to the check out counter I told the cashier that I had two Macadamia cookies the cashier wanted me to open the green bag which was tied tight in a knot so she could see the cookies.
She called the store manager tall African American lady. She didn't even want to hear my side of the incident. Everyone knows when you tie those produce bags in tight knots you will need new ones.
The incident didn't even have to occur if they would have had the bags for customers and where there cashiers could see inside the bags.
So I put the cookies back inside the case inside the green bag. Kindly advice don't use or don't tie a knot the green bag or you will be inconvenience to tare open the bag.

Great experience, employees are friendly and very honest. I had forgotten my cell phone and when back the manager had secure my phone in the safe. Great job!!!

They used to be great clean organized and stocked lately though it’s been dirty messy and empty shelves. Not sure what changed but it needs to change back.

Would love to shop in your store, but every time I come to your store to shop the same woman who is employed is sitting outside on the carts smoking what a turn off. Guess I’ll go to Aldi‘s.

I liked them more when they just opened. But recently I feel like the store has not been tend to- lots of little flies in the bakery cages (health code violation), crumbs and paper bags tossed everywhere and not cleaned up, fries on the floor, products placed upside down in most fridges, and shopping carts full outside and not brought back in. I don’t really wanna eat bakery with flies swarming in there.Also I’ve been in there a few times before closing as well and they dump the pastries before closing. I was about to grab a pastry but they took out the tray and dumped the pastry I was going to grab right in front of me. Like normally if I were working, I would ask if the customer wanted one before I dumped it.So to sum it up- this lidl seems unsanitary and not well tend to. Customer service is mediocre as well. Please fix the health code violation first thanks

The self-check out is too loud. It has to be loud "so the employees can hear it". That doesn't fix the self-checkout being too loud.
We had to wait at the cash register for several minutes for an employee to show up.
Lidl chose to inconvenience the customer by saving money on their end.
