Planet Fitness is a great gym choice! The membership fees are very affordable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming, with regular people focused on their fitness goals. I love that the gym is open 24/7, making it convenient to work out anytime. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the equipment is in excellent condition. Highly recommend!

Love this gym. Clean and friendly. I was a member to another gym before and decided to join planet fitness as it is the best decision I made. I'm so excited and dedicated to my goal and journey with this gym. Love my life. I was a member at this location for years. They mistakenly billed me for another account for 4 months. Despite contacting their billing company, providing screenshots of the withdrawals, speaking with team members at the location (manager was never there), requesting a manager call back, they still have not refunded my money after several months. I am out $100+. Beware of this location.

I am sorry to say this has been the worst gym experience I have ever had. I began with the basic plan and upgraded via the PF app to the back card membership. When I decided this wasn't quite worth the upgrade I went in to downgrade to the basic plan. Turns out when I upgraded I signed up for a YEAR LONG commitment and it is $65 to downgrade. I should've read the fine print. Lesson learned. So I ask how much it is to cancel - same price $65. I thought this is enough reason to cancel - I'm sick of getting nickle and dimed. I pay the painfully large sum and I'm informed Oct 17th will be the last day of my membership. No problem. Now what ACTUALLY happens is on Oct 17th I'm charged YET AGAIN for a black card membership $27. I call and I'm informed per the PF policy refunds cannot be handled on the phone. I make another trip to the gym to get my refund and I'm informed my cancellation is only PENDING. Not only have I not actually had my membership cancelled but I have missed 2 weeks of what I wrongfully got charged for. I ask to be prorated to only pay for the last 2 weeks. NOPE. Now A HUNDRED DOLLARS later and my membership goes until Nov 17th. I am so sick of being taken advantage of and I cannot believe how ridiculously expensive this whole ordeal has been. I will never be returning and I will be warning any prospective members. Awful.

I see a lot of older bad reviews, but I have had a wonderful experience with this gym. I like the variety of the equipment, everything is clean, the members seem to be good at sanitizing equipment after use, it's never too crowded when I go. I also saw in a lot of reviews people mentioning the smell, these must be old reviews, because I'm incredibly sensitive to smell and the gym always smells clean. The staff have always been very friendly. I was given an awesome tour when I started. After a few months, I wanted to downgrade from a black card to the regular membership and was helped out with no problems. Everything seems updated and the equipment is great. I really enjoyed this gym!

Great place! Always clean and all machines operating- I have noticed a couple of times people on a work station on their phones in the circuit training room.

This is an overall review of the wake/Durham co locations over the last few years.While I really liked it when I first started going it was empty and peaceful at night. It was cheap and had everything I needed and I enjoyed the staff.Over time it got to be where no matter what time I went it was always crowded and you had to fight for equipment. So I finally switched to another gym of a similar price.Also the Durham location has a homeless guy that is super creepy and comes up to your car at night and supposedly there's nothing they can do about it.

It's been awhile since I've been to this location but the have up dated their equipment & have added some more. This place is huge, very clean & the staff was great. The lady was very helpful today as I took a friend in with me & she showed me how to sign him in with the app as well.

I have been going to this gym for a few weeks now and I can say that it is one of the best gyms I have ever been to. The gym is very clean and well-maintained, with sanitizing stations and wipes available throughout the facility. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the front desk staff who always greet me with a smile and make the sign-in process quick and easy. They also offer a variety of workout and cardio machines for different fitness levels and goals. The great thing is that they are open late which is a bonus for my sometimes crazy schedule.
