December 2023 by Pharen Barron
Update: The associate’s name is Jillian - she gave me the wrong name on purpose. I will think twice about being a redcard member and Target shopper if the workers are going to be rude. During the holiday, I offer to tip the drive up workers but couldn’t do that this December. My daughter is happy she got her holiday shirt but Drive-up pickup at 8:15am did not go well due to an associate. She said her name was Lily (lady with layered clothing and slightly disheveled appearance for work) but there is no guarantee that is true after how sassy and rude she was after my daughter and I had to head inside after Lily apparently decided to retaliate and wait an extra 10 minutes to bring our items out (it asked for my signature and she never had come out yet so in the system, I’m sure it looks like I already had my items but we can check cameras to show I did not). She told me (while we walked inside due to the long delay in drive up while there was only one other car there) that I almost ran her over when I drove in. That is absolutely not true. You don’t make accusations like that and then walk off; it’s very unprofessional and uncalled for. The suv in space 1 cut me off to get in coming from the side entrance of target and I waiting for him to go in the space and went around him to space 2 while she laid out stop signs. I was in no rush, school drop off isn’t for another hour and my foot wasn’t even on the pedal; I just went around her. I wonder why the associates find it so easy to be rude but only to certain shades of people. She would have thought twice to talk to me like that if I was from a different background. I called to speak with a manager and they claimed that no manager was in and no note was taken down for one to call me back, so I’ll have to go in-person later when hopefully a manager has clocked in for the day.

Huge thank you to Andy with curbside pick up for his amazing customer service! I truly appreciate his communication and courtesy. He went above and beyond to give me the best service he could during such a hectic time with the holidays coming up. Thank you Andy!

I love Target. They have the products I like and have the best employees. Making returns is also a breeze using the Target App!

I love Target! I have never had a bad experience with any Target location. No matter what I'm looking for Target has it and I'm going to buy it! I was pleasantly surprised to find these books for $1. Perfect for black history month or to add to any kids book collection. Also found they were easy reads for adults. It's never too late to learn!

The best way to see how a place handles its customers is to try to shop right before closing. The worst customer service experience ever! No acknowledgement even after making eye contact with several members of Target staff. During check out blank stares, no pleasantries no nothing! I ultimately had to return what I purchased at a different location because it didn't work out.

This target is a nightmare to go to. It’s servicing an area with far too many people than the store, the inventory, or the staff can handle. I’d rather eat a sneaker than withstand the traffic to drive here and weather the storm that feels like Black Friday on a typical week day. The staff is doing the best they can I’m sure but the area needs another target located in Clayton.

Average at best. It did not start out with groceries, so when they added groceries without expanding the footprint, it hurt the selection. When compared to the one at North Hills, you really see the difference.

Beware of this Target store while Buying Giftcards. We have bought $100 and $200 Visa Giftcards and they were tampered. 2 digits in the 16 digit numbers were scratched off.The whole reason for us to come to target is we feel secure than walmart. Now I have to talk to giftcard company and go through whole process as target system is not efficient to overwrite the gitcards. Finally please check the gift cards on the spot if u are buying at this store especially visa and master cards

I would like to say that Toniette is AWESOME!!!! This is the second time I’ve been in here this week and she just helped me with no issues and even gave me compliments. Extremely nice, sweet, and had a smile both times. Y’all are lucky to have her. She definitely left an impression and I never take the time to fill surveys unless it is subpar service.

Scammers are relentless! This is the first time I got scammed. Well almost scammed. I got an unexpected text from my CEO Bill and since we have never texted before I didn’t think twice getting a message from a new number. After I paid for $500 worth of gift cards, he asked me to send it with the receipt. As I walked slowly to get out of Target, I looked for Bill’s email and he has a 703 number. I realized that it was an iPhone and wouldn’t have a need for Google Play gift cards. I texted that number and asked the real Bill if he needed them. Sure enough, he said NO. I called him and explained what’s happening. It’s unbelievable! It’s a good thing I took a step back and processed the situation before costing my company money. Target refused to give me a refund even though I haven’t even left the store yet. Erica and Andy, the Managers, are useless, flat out told me they won’t go above and beyond by telling me they can’t help more than giving me an 800 number. I understanding it’s not their fault but do better Target!I’m glad I stopped before sending the cards over. I’m shook!
