I can't give zero stars or I would. Customer service sucks. Eric is terrible employee and is a total liar. Would never ever use this u haul place again. I also have had to file multiple complaints about him and this store to the district manager and the people above them. So so terrible here

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst customer service in the area. Booked a truck for 7am, showed up for reservation and no one was in the store. My reservation was moved back, when I came back to pick up, I was given a smart mouth response that my reservation had been cancelled. The business should be removed and replaced with another business. On top of the bad service homeless people loiter constantly.

If I could give this location and it's GM Eric Townes a - 5, I would after how he treated me today. I called bc there were 3-4 attempts to charge my card for a storage unit I hadn't moved into, I only reserved it. I email Eric Townes back to advise there was a discrepancy and I no longer needed the unit and in fact, had never moved into it. When I called today, I spoke to a woman that answered and told me she had a customer in store and she'd look up my acct, cool. But then with no notice, this jerk of a GM gets on the line to TELL ME that my card wasn't being charged.. but how would he know without even looking up the acct. I firmly told him he was incorrect and told him I didn't appreciate his immediate rudeness and tone when he got on the line. Did he care? Not at all, he proceeded to tell me incorrect info without having looked up my acct yet. Finally he cuts me off while trying to correct him so we can be in the same page with my concerns, to ask for my name. I almost didn't give it to him bc sir, we should've started with that first. He says well it says you moved in, but if the GM wouldve properly and respectfully ascertained the reason of my call, he would know that I never moved in. As I am informing him, he continued to cut me off, says well did I let someone know. Sir, what do you even mean, I let someone know when I DIDN'T MOVE INTO THE UNIT. And I told him I emailed back and there were still attempts of $124.00 now with a late fee to my card. He is still cutting me off, so I requested to speak to someone else, he says well I moved you out and is that all. I tried asking would he email me confirmation, and he continued to cut me off! Smh.. so I again advised him that bc of how irate he was towards me with no reason at all, I would be calling corporate. This dude didn't seem bothered at all, basically his tone suggested "call them", no apologies given, no customer centricity at all. And guess what, I did call them Mr Townes, and that disgusting call that could've been a quick one and done, will be reviewed so keep that same energy. His boss did respond and offered me a $50 credit, but it shouldbe been more done due to level of disrespect I endured from his GM, I won't come back to Uhaul lol. Anyhow, thanks for reading.

Don’t rent from UHaul in Garner NC!
My daughter is stranded because UHaul installed her hitch wrong and the GM here is not helping! He was nasty, rude and a jerk to my daughter, her partner and my husband when he called!
They can’t drive 2k miles with the hitch and trailer that UHaul installed!
Daphney with UHaul Roadside assistance was very nice on the phone just now. Hoping they help. Thank goodness she bought all the insurance!

This is the worst dealers in the US. They put you on hold and never answer back. They’ve done this to me many times. They don’t follow directions for shipping uboxes.

I had nothing but a horrific experience with this location!! An absolute nightmare. When I ordered the boxes I was told they’d be delivered by a certain date, I scheduled my move accordingly. Received a call from Gene and let me know my boxes arrived Sunday and let me know they could be dropped off at my home - just like I was originally told by U-Haul in NYC. Called Thursday and Friday to ensure my packages would arrive on June 1 as promised. By Friday afternoon I get a message saying that they won’t be delivered until June 3. I called to see if they could rectify it, but they said it was out of their hands. I called every single day four times a day just to get some answers and I kept getting the runaround. At one point, someone said that U-Haul that my boxes arrived 30 minutes before I called which was a lie because I was already told by Gene that they had arrived five days prior. Then there’s ERIC. He REPEATEDLY TOLD ME THAT THEY DONT DELIVER BOXES TO LOCATIONS, that they just store them. He was by far the worst in customer service I have ever dealt with. His excuse was he needed 24 hours which I did and was well over 72 hours!! He kept telling me “it’s like Tetris” - Eric, that has nothing to do with me. They held my boxes for well over a week with no kind of assistance until I called corporate.
If you can avoid this location and Eric, do so.
They are horrid!

The lady that helped us behind the counter was one of the most difficult helpers I’ve ever had she kept complaining about the lines and although we had been waiting for her for 15 mins and where at the front of the line she hit me with “ baby I’m about to close the doors and have a whole line what ur needing is gonna have to wait please step aside” NEVER COMING BACK HERE WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EVER.

Showed up to get the truck we reserved… Even though there was a truck on the lot we were told we couldn’t rent it because of a contractor issue. When we asked for an alternative we were told to go to a different location.
Aside from this issue the guy at the rental place was so apathetic and lacked any customer service skills.
Don’t rent here or don’t try renting here.

So after waiting about 15-20 minutes to get my propane tank refilled for my grill I see an older gentleman standing around not doing anything he notices me ask me what I need I said I've been waiting over here for 10-15 minutes to fill my propane tank at which point he gave me attitude back saying he could charge me whatever you want and that's the price for waiting and all this smart stuff then he looks in my tank and points out the poundage numbers and says that that is my date of the expiration for the tank and he cannot fill it I leave go to speedway and bold black numbers on top of the tank 01 - 24 e so obviously he doesn't know how to do his job I see why this place has such a bad review I would not recommend going there for any propane or any other services

There is a reason this place has a 3.1 rating. If you try to get them on the phone they put you on hold for the longest time. Then when you talk to them, they are just rude. When I went in to get my Truck today I was greeted by the owner Precious. She could be the rudest person I have ever met. She was so busy playing on her cell, it was like I was bothering her there to get my truck. After finally getting checked in she says your truck is out there. Just look for the number. As ask her was she not gonna take me out and show it to me and of course she was way to busy for that. I strongly recommend finding another place to deal with. This was not a PRECIOUS experience. If I did not need the truck today I would have walked out.
