From enter the front door you can feel the positive energy. Letting the Dr/Nurse know what wrong and all the resources they let you know about and see which one is for you.. Even the call in are just as warm.. and the return call back is in a timely manner..

I’ve been coming here for awhile. My last visit was awful. No communication at all. Maybe someone should explain to me what a physical contains. No one told me about blood work, there was no urine analysis done. Just a bunch of questions which the answers were in my chart. The NP rushed me so that I had no clue as to what was going on. And now I have atrium gastroenterology and HB calling me to schedule an appointment when I don’t even go there. Right now I am looking elsewhere for my medical appointments.

I have been a patient at Riverwood Medical and Dr. VanMeter for a long time. If Dr.VanMeter cannot fix what is wrong with me he will get me to a doctor who will.

Riverwood has been my primary care since I was 13 years old and I'm now 43. I have always loved the staff and care provided by them until recently. Although the doctor I saw at my last visit was very nice I have been very sick for a very long time, even hospitalized recently with pneumonia and swollen legs and feet. At my follow up appointment with Riverwood for these two ailments plus chest and rib pain I was given just a surface exam and asked a few questions and even with the doctor hearing wheezing no further tests or exams were done. Unfortunately I feel this was negligent and not enough to determine that what is going on with me is nothing to worry about. Now my symtoms are getting worse yet again and honestly I don't know what to do.

Been good until atrium took over, and then a spiral down, I have difficulty getting prescription refills, and will only give 30 days refills, the drug is for nausea, not a medication to monitor, I could go on, but just that the staff is not as helpful as the old Riverwood clinic, I'm considering .moving to a different practice, I've had to argue about my copay with the checkout staff, them saying that I was wrong, and ultimately found with a little effort that I was right, but she said she didn't call insurance company's, so I told van meter what she said,, and she had a change of attitude. Their staff is just not as good since atrium took over, and my old nurse for 15 years left , wonder why !

Love the team at Riverwood Family Medicine! Dr. Meadows is fantastic and really listened to my concerns and helped to find a plan that worked great for me. All of the staff are kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Amy is amazing - she’s the only provider I’ve ever had that has made me feel heard and seen. She is patient and kind and cares about the whole person and not just the symptom or disease that brings you in that day.
