I came to Nissan on Thursday and purchased a vehicle. It was a used 2021 Nissan Rogue. The tire pressure was low at 28 when I left. The seller said it was because it was cold outside. Next morning it was on 22 and my key battery was low. Come to find out I had a nail in my tire. I called back they told me to bring the vehicle back for a tire and key for a battery. I pulled up at 11:30am and handed my keys to service. Told them about the tire. Spoke with a manager in sales about gas coming back for the inconvenience. He said they don't give out free gas. That was upsetting when they should have made sure everything was ok before I left the lot. I then sat until 1pm just to find out they never took my car back to be serviced because they didn't know whose car it was. Hours later I'm still here waiting with 2 small kids! Service is terrible I do not recommend this Nissan dealer!

I'm very happy to update this review and have my car back in working order. After my last visit to this location, the manager Tyler reached out to me and was very helpful with my concerns. He was able to convince me to go back to this location and have them hold my car overnight to look into the issue further. They did give me a loaner car which I greatly appreciated. The next day they told me they went ahead and replaced my old battery, per my warranty, so that I would no longer be stranded with a car that wouldn't start repeatedly. I do appreciate Tyler's timely assistance with such a stressful situation. He was super nice and really saved the day!

Really disappointed in this place. I would not recommend buying from here. They sold me a lemon for $11k and exactly a year later my transmission goes out and they want me to pay another $8k to repair. The vehicle doesn't meet the transmission warranty, for its older than 2018. I still can't believe how they have completely screwed me over. Best part is. They said I could trade in, but now my vehicle isn't worth anything and I would have to make another down payment and start an whole new purchase. Nothing but a money pit. I'm posting to warn others. BEWARE!!!

I had some safety issues on my car. They took care of all the issues. Their prices are a little steep, but the service was completed on time friendly staff.

I have austic grandson who must get to his speech classes and treatment even over the weekend. My car needed work and Mr Desoto got me a loaner. They called me and kept me up-to-date on progress of work. They found another problem that could have really caused me a problem breaking down later. They made me feel safe to drive my boy where he needed to be. Thanks, Nissan Gastonia.

This review specifically reflects the service department's way of handling things, primarily Andrew Fesko (service advisor). If a 0 were an option it would absolutely apply. I will provide some back story on this matter: Originally I took my vehicle in due to issues with the transmission and because every warning light was blinking at the same time, and this was sometime in April. Andrew Fesko serviced it, and stated it was due to my subwoofers. I have never had this issue before with any other vehicle I have ever had, Nissan included, but I took his word for it. Upon retrieving my vehicle, I had the subwoofers removed. I drove the vehicle for a month or so and the issues with the transmission were still affecting my commute to work, around town, etc. Fast forward to early June, and it was the worst it had ever been. The battery would not hold a charge. I would charge it to 100% on Sunday evening before my work week and by Friday evening it was already at 42%. I took the vehicle back to Nissan where I had a different technician assisting me, initially. This tech stated that he sees where I brought this in for the same issues not too long ago and he was going to consult with Andrew on this matter. Andrew verbatim told the tech, "Just copy and paste the information I originally keyed in and we will look at it." Except, the information he had keyed in stated it was due to the subwoofers and they were no longer in there so this was obviously not the same issue. The technician did not even have my vehicle for 24 hours before I received a call that they could not duplicate the issues. I instructed them to keep it another day and drive it. The following day, I was instructed to pick up my vehicle because there was nothing wrong with it. When I arrived I told the technician that I would like my keys, and he told me he was going to get Andrew so that he could talk to me about the vehicle. Andrew walked up front, took one look at me, and I guess because he could tell I was visibly angry with the situation did not bother to come speak to me. The initial technician came out, and told me, "Well just to let you know, we did check the battery and it is actually performing above standard." I was never explained how that was possible considering all the information I had given them, and this felt like some smart way of trying to stick it to me even more. So, this 1 star review is specifically for Andrew Fesko, service advisor for Nissan Gastonia, and the entire service department at this location. I do not know why this title has been bestowed upon you Andrew, because you do not advise your customers of anything. Instead, you blatantly ignore them because you do not like confrontation and have someone else tell the customers a general summary of what actually happened. Your coworkers do not know how to handle anything either, or how to speak to a customer when you can tell they are clearly not satisfied with the experience. I also checked the mileage on my car before and after, it was not driven like it should have been for the issues to have been duplicated. At best, they drove it around the parking lot as slow as they could and pretended to be "working" on finding the solution. I am happily with another dealership that is not Nissan, I will never return to another Nissan, and I will make sure that everyone I know does not do business with any Nissan dealership going forward. Furthermore, if they are naive enough to do business there, I will tell them to specifically tell the service department they do not want Andrew Fesko to "advise" them on anything regarding their vehicle.

I have been a LOYAL customer of Gastonia Nissan for years... Tyler (Service Manager), Andrew (Service Advisor) and John (GTR Technician) ALWAYS outperform AND go above and beyond my expectations when I require service for my GTR.

They sold me a vehicle with bad feathered tires and refuse to resolve the issue by replacing these bad tires! I purchased a vehicle from Gastonia Nissan that was already priced above KBB - but they claimed it was in the market with the others around the area. After the whole transaction and agreeing that they were to cosmetically fix the passenger rear door, replace the spare tire that was not there and fix a vibration in the front end I was getting when driving at 50 + mph, I was told that I would hear from their service department that week. 4 weeks later and several phone calls to the department and salesman, they finally get the car scheduled for its repairs. They had the car for 8 days, returned it to me with the front end still vibrating. I took it back where they kept it for another week...I was told that it was perfect now and it was just out of alignment. drove it off the lot, to still experience the front end vibration. Spoke to service manager (Tyler) who told me to bring it back in. They had it for another day and came back to me with the conclusion that the tires were bad and feathered and they could do nothing more about it! They told me in order for me to get rid of the humming and vibration - that I had to put new tires on it! This is absolutely disgusting! I paid over $23000 for a vehicle that I now need to put new tires on. Having tires that are feathered is very dangerous - especially in rainy conditions... Nissan of Gastonia evidently finds it acceptable to sale such a vehicle with bad feathered tires to a single mother of two children and then send that single mother of two children in that vehicle to drive. This is being taken a lot further! Including small claims court, BBB and the Nissan corporation! NEVER WILL I BUY OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN - AND I WARN OTHERS THE SAME!

Let me start off with I purchased my vehicle brand new and no issues with the purchase of my vehicle. It wasn't until owning, servicing and have paid off my vehicle that I began to have trouble. The 5th year of me owning my vehicle is where my trouble began. I've caught the service department in lies of not completing services that I've paid for. I've had technicians mark items incorrectly tell me items that needed to be repaired due to "time/mileage" I could go on and on and have the service records to prove it. Nissan motor Corp will eventually get tired of seeing my name and VIN number from all the inquiries I've sent in. Long story short IF you need to get service done at a nissan dealership drive a little further and skip Gastonia nissan save yourself the headache and time wasted. It's obvious that this service department doesnt care about cutsomers or customer service. Just be prepared to fight nail and tooth for any services that you spend your money on, and be prepared to take your vehicle to another location for a second opinion or to verify that services were actually completed

I put my car for sale on MarketPlace and they contacted me to purchase it. Price was agreed upon over the phone and when I arrived they did not play any games as did other dealers. Jeff Hartness and Carla were pleasant to deal with and I would recommend him to anyone else interested in selling or buying a car.

Awful! Salesman José was great, the rest was HORRIBLE. They jacked the price from what was on their website, added $1500 to it for 'safety' stuff they had added to the van, *TRIED* to add almost $2800 for their costs for: not knowing if they could replace the vehicle? because their sales are down? and supply & demand?... nope, we didn't make sense to us either! RUN from this place!!

I bought a used 2017 Honda Accord from this dealership in February 2021. I have always been told that Honda cars are great but this one was nothing but trouble. I had to take it back to the dealership 6 times. The service department was great and fixed everything at no cost. The owner of the dealership got involved and these guys stayed in constant contact with me for 2 months until we were able to come to an agreement to put me into another vehicle. They worked it out where I could trade the used Accord in on a brand new 2021 Altima and my payment only went up $50 a month. Leon and Matthew were great through this whole ordeal.

I took time off work to look at a used car there. When I got in it, it smelled like a cigarette bomb had gone off inside it. I had talked to the sales manager on the phone, but when I got there, he gave me a salesman who looked like he was 15 years old. When I complained about the smell, he distanced himself from the manager by saying, "I wasn't the person communicating with you." Never again.
