“This is the closest dollar store to us. The staff is always so friendly and the items always seem to be stocked as soon as possible. The only thing I would note is that the parking lot and sometimes the store remain a tad on the dirty side...but, nothing to stop me from going there to get the essentials”

I enjoy shopping at this location because of the employees that make it feel like I'm shopping it in my own home. “I stopped by this location with 2 young boys that I care for on a hot Wednesday afternoon. We were buying pool noodles and a pool. The boys were super excited. Everyone in the store was kind to them. My hands were full with the boys so a man went outside to get the biggest pool for us. The woman at the register helped to carry it outside. Unfortunately it did not fit in the back. All of us went back inside to buy tie-downs to put the pool on the roof. The associate asked her coworker if she minded if she helped me put it on top of my car. As we were working on this a kind man who was with an older woman offered to put it in his truck and drive it to the house for us.This trip could have been a disaster but instead it was a successful adventure. Everyone was kind and helpful so these excited boys could enjoy their day. I want to thank each of these helpers. This is going to be a whole summer of fun for these littles due to you!”

They were being safe! It's unfortunate that others did not realize how dangerous that dark Parking lot is at night. I would have thought people saw the police tower? “I came in to family dollar to purchase some things and was greeted by a friendly employee who introduced himself as Devin. Devin along with his co worker Dontay helped me find the things I neeeded. I’m from out of town so the family dollar was set up differently. “Went to the store today & it was well organized, cleaned and honestly the best dollar tree in Gastonia! Spoke with the cashier and she told me its a team and they work hard and she thanked me for the comment and also introduced me to Mike one of the employers who she stated has been one of many to help keep the store clean, I told him the store looks great and keep up the great work!!
