The service writer (Jason) went out of his way to try to save me money anyway he could, he was very friendly and professional and if I have any other mechanical needs I will ask for him every time! The techs were amazing. As soon as they got approval they knocked my car out and got it back to me very quick and it drives perfect! I'm sure the other service writers are also very good but I didn't deal with them. Great experience!.

Bobby was fantastic he listened to what we wanted and worked very hard to get more than just what we asked for. He does a very good job and represents Gastonia Nissan well. Needless to say we had a very good experience at Gastonia Nissan and will not be going anywhere else.Thank you for the opportunity.Cheryl Lawson

Austin did a great job keeping me informed on the work that was being done and the steps being taken. The work was done much faster than I anticipated, which was very nice. And everyone in the service department was very friendly and helpful! Thank you!

Just want to thank Wesley for being wonderful this morning! My key fob battery was low and I stopped by to get a new one. I pulled up in the line to ask where to park and he guided me to a spot and wouldn’t let me get out of the car but told me he would fix it for me and to stay in my vehicle and stay warm! He took my key and was back in a jiffy with the new battery installed. Such a kind and friendly young man! You have a keeper there, Gastonia Nissan!!

We went in to look at and test drive the 2024 platinum 4wd pathfinder, not expecting to fall in love with it, and well, we fell in love with it. Our sales guy JoJo was awesome, the finance guy was super cool, and everyone in that building was VERY nice and welcoming. Fantastic experience!

I went into the dealership and 30 minutes later, I had purchased the perfect car for a needy friend. Mr. Davis was so helpful and patient and kind. It was an awesome experience and my friend still can’t believe it. Gail Warlick

Thank you for treating my mother and myself (a former customer and a never again customer) so poorly. As soon as I can I will cover up your decal. First the receptionist was so friendly. She didn't smile, say hi, or wonder why these two women walked in and sat in the lobby for 10 minutes. She should not be in that role if she doesn't do those things. They apparently open but don't have a sales person available until 9. They will lie to you and tell you that nobody comes in before 9 as an industry standard. Kia of Gastonia does. We had to flag someone down.Yes my mother was going to be difficult. Yes she had a big ask. But Andrew failed her.In comparison Kia, when we walked in we were greeted at the door. They immediately offered coffee and water. John at Kia acknowledged the mountains. He assured her he will figure it out because their Network is large. He found her a car. And even convinced her to finance. He cared.Update: My email is blocked when I email the owner.

The customer service that I received in the vehicle service department was exceptional. Service writer was Shayla and not only did she get the answers to my questions, she was genuinely interested in me as a customer. I was more than just a number to them, which is rare these days. Thank you for making it a great experience!!!

Andrew was wonderful. He worked tirelessly to find me the exact car I wanted. He went above and beyond what I expected.Bobby was also great to work with finalizing all the details of my car purchase. I highly recommend them both as they made the whole experience a very positive one.

I've dealt with both sales & service with Gastonia Nissan for 1 year including the purchase of a used car and there's no way I'd recommend this dealer. 1st off they have the shadiest of marketing practices with their 'home of the lifetime warranty' offering. Let's peel that onion back a bit so I can help you. The warranty is offered through TWS (poor rating on Google) because the lion's share of claims are denied due to the fine print. I asked and this fine print is not known by the salespeople at the dealer. They don't have a clue, and just tout, 'lifetime warranty,' but really have no idea what it actually entails or the restrictions. Here's the deal with it which has so many loopholes it's a joke. Basically in order for that warranty to work and have a claim that is accepted, you need to have EVERY SINGLE service item at EVERY SINGLE service interval done by the dealer or a repair shop that will upload those service records to Car Fax (which only dealers do) for proof you are taking care of the car. What this means is that if you want to change your own oil, air filter, cabin filter (super easy stuff), you can't do it. Instead of buying your own quality filter and replace it yourself for $25, you'll need to pay the dealer $75-$100 to do it for you so there is proof the work was done. Think the 20,000 mile, 30,000 mile service work in the back of you manual is a joke (often many of the procedures are), you CAN NOT ignore or miss having the dealer to do this work or that warranty company will say you didn't service the car according to manufacture's guidelines and therefore not covered. Read up on that warranty company and you'll find unhappy customers with denied claims because they missed 1 oil change 3 years ago or an air filter replacement at the exact interval.See the pattern here? It's a cleaver way for the warranty company to make money from the dealer on each car sale, and in turn the dealer make a ton on service from requiring the car owner to legitimize every single maintenance procedure by having that pricey work be done at the dealer. As mentioned the sales staff will not educate you on any of this when you buy the car. It's a hook to get you feeling good and safe about buying the car, but you'll get a huge surprise down the road if you need that warranty and then turned down because you didn't do every single maintenance procedure for that car. Even if you save your receipts and did the work yourself (i.e. oil change, filter, etc) that will NOT work as there's no real proof you actually did this work. How did I figure all of this out? I did the research myself after buying the car by calling the warranty company directly (they validated everything; get all work done per guidelines or they won't cover). I then called my salesperson back to see if they knew about all of these restrictions on this 'fabulous lifetime warranty' and they had no clue (or they were holding back). They are just puppets to this marketing gimmick. If you really want peace of mind, buy a separate warranty policy. You pay more out of pocket, but I've had those and they are mostly no questions asked, small deductible policies, that kick in when the main car's warranty is out of date (especially good for used cars).Over to the service department there are a host of issues too with poor quality work. They put on the cheapest metallic brakes ever which I had to replace rotors and pads myself to fix the horrible squealing (brake glide did not fix it). They tore the trunk lining apart to put in a safety brake light system (which doesn't work) and now the lining is hanging low. The LoJack device they installed was done poorly with a harness hanging low by the gas and brake pedal that I had to secure. Also expect to wait 2 hours for an oil change 'appointment'. Talked to service rep about shady warranty and mentioned he should give feedback on next team meeting to sales department to educate

I arrived at 12:30, met Mr. Doug Brown, and drove the vehicle off the lot at 3:30. I appreciate him valuing my time. He listened and answered all my questions and more. He made the environment friendly. The experience with the financial department, detail cleaning, and everyone that was involved in the process was a great experience. I highly recommend them.

Nia and Van, the sales associates, were super nice and took great care of me while I was there. The finance manager was also very nice and worked to make sure the deal met my needs. I have 2 problems. First, when I test drove the vehicle all four floor mats were in the vehicle. Then on Saturday dealership for about 5 hours. Trying to finish up paperwork so by the time I left it was about 10:00 p.m. needless to say, I was too tired to even notice that the driver side floor mat was now missing. I noticed the next morning and contacted Nia and she said she would look into it. Later that day. I took the spare key that I had for the car which I traded in back to them and gave it to me and she said that management said there was nothing they could do about the format because it was a used car. So basically I have to turn around and buy more floor mats which is a problem to me. In addition, I took my spare key back yet the facility only had one key for the new vehicle that I bought which was a 2021 Rogue. When I asked about a second key I was told they could tell me the name of a place to go get one at that. It would cost about $300. Again. I have a problem with this is as much as I'm spending on a vehicle. The vehicle should have two keys, not just one. Then today I get in my car to drive to work and get about a quarter of a mile down the road and was met with a sensor that popped up and said I will drive error and the parking sensors were going off. Plus it was idling rough. So I spent the last 3 hours or so at the car dealership with him looking at my car and they replace the mass air flow sensor. Services. Great! They do a great job and I greatly appreciate it. However, as far as the sales side goes, once you have completed your deal they could care less or at least that is how they made it feel.

Really disappointed in this place. I would not recommend buying from here. They sold me a lemon for $11k and exactly a year later my transmission goes out and they want me to pay another $8k to repair. The vehicle doesn’t meet the transmission warranty, for its older than 2018. I still can’t believe how they have completely screwed me over.Best part is. They said I could trade in, but now my vehicle isn’t worth anything and I would have to make another down payment and start an whole new purchase.Nothing but a money pit.I’m posting to warn others.BEWARE!!!
