The staff are kind & courteous. The food was excellent. Even though we did not have a pet, Hilton Garden Inn is PET FRIENDLY!Would highly recommend this hotel for the atmosphere, amenities, and awesome customer service they provided during our entire stay!

This is nice, well appointed Hilton Garden Inn. Large open and welcoming spaces. The staff are friendly and responsive. The hotel is newer and modern. The room are standard and comfortable. The beds are nice. Amenities are standard.There is a bar and restaurant. Had dinner and breakfast and it was fine. The bar nice to visit later in the evening.Location is great right but the freeway but wasn’t noisy. There is a Chick-fil-a, Olive Garden, Starbucks and Buffalo Wild Wings right next door. In a nice busy area of Gastonia.Lots of free parking.

We had an excellent stay on a very brief trip. We came down to visit a friend and purchase a car from them, and then drive back home 7+ hours to Northern Virginia, near Washington, DC. Our stay was the perfect respite for us— quiet, clean, and convenient. In particular, Mrs Sabrina, the evening house manager, and Jana at the front desk were very helpful and friendly during our time there. The kindness and pleasant interactions made all the difference to us! Highly recommend this location to stay at if you’re in the area!

Walkability: Easy to walk around and explore. Had a fire pit and chairs to sit downFood & drinks: They had a restaurant and grill inside and several places around them to eat at in walking distance

They serve a typical "breakfast included " bkfst but charge $18 person for very mediocre meal. Even for Hilton honors regulars.

Booked room after a horrible day at a client after traveling 5.5 hours. Can't make it home 2 hours away so I booked this hotel. Upon arrival and anticipate of a hot shower and bed to leave this day behind, I get a front desk clerk who informs me they have over sold the hotel and now I'm left out in the cold. Why sell the rooms if you can't deliver. This is the first Hilton I've stayed at in a year and I remember now WHY I'm a IHG guy. No respect for the working man, just greedy people over booking rooms in case of cancelations! Shame.Rooms: They over book and will waste your time.

We made the mistake of trying to stay somewhere else other than here and checked out and headed straight to this garden inn! The staff here always try and meet your needs. They went above and beyond so we were comfortable after leaving the Tru Hilton in town where we were miserable. The pool was perfectly warm. The room was comfortable and amenities as they should be. We will always stay here and never try to stay anywhere else again !

I'd rather sleep in a dumpster stayed for 5 days took us 2 hours to check in nobody had a clue including the manager about reservations blamed it all on new computer system finally after 2 hours got our room key went up to the room only to find TV lights on clothing on the bed yes somebody was in our room that we just rented for 5 days already paid for went back down with our luggage to the front desk explaining our situation got laughed at definitely not a joke as I'm 64 gave us another room 26 minutes later finally got a room for the 5days that we originally booked so we thought the next day they said we over booked & that we had to change rooms after another hour of talking & explaining our situation we were able to stay in our room ahh room was very accommodating comfortable although not very clean as we learned that the maids don't clean or put fresh towels & face clothes in the rooms unless asked at $180 we thought that would be the norm breakfast was great although after day 4 in the breakfast area the same eggs were on the floor under the table was unsanitary day 4 getting ready to go to dinner not there getting dressed in my hotel room some unknown person opens our door total invasion of privacy another guest with the wrong room key again made the front desk aware of our issue was told once again sorry it's the new computer system when to eat across the street at outback steakhouse very good came back sat in the lobby for another hour listening to everybody else checking in nothing but horror all the clerks at the front desk were saying is we're sorry it's the computer system very sad definitely would not recommend this hotel mismanaged very rude I truly cannot believe this establishment is still in business. This did absolutely nothing when our car was broken into. The front desk service was trash and the food here is Mid. The chef is more worried about flirting and sitting with customer then cooking our food correctly and Barb the bartender didn’t add much to the drinks and the rim of the cups weren’t cleaned but she wanted a tip? Ill never stay here again.Noteworthy details: I am highly disappointed in my stay.

Very nice hotel for Gastonia seeing how we don’t really have upscale hotels. One of the best you will find in our small city. Or u can check out mid town motor inn!!!! Great location, just off 85S in Gastonia, NC.Staff is very attentive and professional.Within walking distance to Olive Garden, Chick-fa-lay and Buffalo Wild Wings without crossing the road (3-5 min walk).I'll use them again! Family (i.e., grandchildren) enjoyed.

The staff allowed a large group of kids to absolutely torment my family, the kids were showing their private parts peeing next to the indoor pool throwing shoes at us and they tore the weight room upside down and flooded the halls with the shower! The water was literally standing in the hall. I made several complaints about this to the staff hoping to be able to enjoy the amenities of this hotel with no luck at all! The kids were even going through the hotel and knocking on guest room doors at night and took chairs from their room and was wheeling them through the halls one of the kids told my son he had a razor blade and everything but the staff was absolutely incapable and unwilling to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for two days! Luckily I had to check out on the third day of my stay for personal reasons. Upon checking out i was provided a final invoice and then was charged again after being given said invoice. I paid $611 for the stay and the incidentals and then was billed another $137 and still never received the original money back incidentals back. The stay was only supposed to be just over $300 dollars based off the final invoice I was provided at check out. I called the hotel and was argued with like a child and basically called a liar and the woman was very combative, argumentative and unwilling to explain anything and couldn’t answer any of my questions, I was told to try and dispute the charges but they guarantee it will be un successful and continued on to basically fight with this lady until I got tired of dealing with it. If the staff put the same effort into having a healthy, safe, enjoyable experience it would be alright but they seem incapable of doing that! I will never ever step foot into this hotel again and truly hop I get a response from corporate or I’ll be involving the local news channel.
