Went in for a recall on my 2020 Hyundai Palisade and drove off in a new 2024 Hyundai Tucson. Ryan Ussery was a great salesman, without being overbearing or pushy. He was polite and respectful. He worked with his team to get me the deal I wanted. 10/10 I will make my next purchase from there.

My experience with Keith Hawthorne Hyundai of Gastonia was phenomenal! It was very pleasant and the entire process was fast and seamless. My saleswoman was Christian Simmons and she was very professional, patient and very attentive to my needs and desires in what I wanted in my new vehicle. When I pulled back up to the dealership after test driving a brand new car, the finance manager told me I had been approved for that brand new car. I went there thinking I would be purchasing a used car, but they helped to upgrade and got me approved quickly and at a good rate. They exceeded my expectations! The drive from North Charlotte to Gastonia was well worth it!!!

Taylor Nguyen was so helpful! He scheduled my appointment, discussed all the services that would be provided, and the anticipated cost. When it was determined I needed replacement tires, he helped me choose the best option for me. It was a smooth process. I have not purchased a new car since 1997. I usually purchase used cars due to how fast cars depreciate. I am satisfied with the result. I was coming to test drive and I came home with a new car. To be honest, I am not a fan of car dealerships but in this situation I had a positive experience due to the staff. They all wanted me to leave happy. This experience was a refreshing change.

Recently just purchased from Keith Hawthorne for the 3rd time. They made this purchase an absolute breeze for me. Andrew our salesperson was incredibly responsive. He was very polite. They were one of the only dealerships not trying to rake their customers over the coals with some insane markups. Hopefully I’ll have this car for a very long time, but should I ever need another Hyundai they will get my business again. I highly recommend Keith Hawthorne Hyundai of Gastonia to anyone interested in a Hyundai. I also recommend Andrew specifically, such an easy going guy who never made me feel pressure to get anything other than exactly what I wanted and requested. He even followed up post purchase to insure I was pleased with my vehicle and remained responsive even after the purchase, which speaks to his customer service and the importance he placed on customer satisfaction. i took my car for 60.000 mile service and they didnt put back the correct amount of oil back since it is a sealed transmission. so as soon as i picked up the car transmission started to fail and the i took back to the service manager treated me like i was stupid and giving me the run around and having me sit there for hours and they never looked at it or anything. i told them i wanted my vehicle repaired and they refused to do so i took my vehicle to ammco of Gastonia they told me the transmission is done that i had to go through my endurance insurance and endurance replaced the transmission no questions asked i will never buy or take my car for service to this dealership ever again as Hyundai couldn't do anything to fix the issue becaused they are owned and operated and hyundai can only sudggest im sure kieth hawthorne was aware of this and that's why they do what they want horrible and during these trying time you would think they would take care of their customers and be part of the solution and not the problem buyer beware do not buy or take your vehicle to thier service department no respect to the customers. I had a truly wonderful experience purchasing my ‘23 Hyundai Santa Fe. No pushiness or salesmen taking your drivers license/keys so you can’t escape — the whole process was pleasant. The staff we interacted with were nice, thorough and knowledgeable. I was able to trade in my old car and drive away with my perfect new one!When you go up there, be sure to ask for Caleb!!

The best dealership!! I have purchased two new Sonatas with them and they went above and beyond to get me the best deal that worked on my budget. They even upgraded my floor mats as a “surprise” gift the day I picked my newest car up! I wouldn’t own any other car, and would highly recommend this dealership!

Aaron in the service department is the most incompetent and inconsiderate service employee. I had four recalls on my car, which I called and scheduled FOUR weeks prior to the appointment. When it came day of the appointment I dropped my car off at 8:30 am like my appointment time said. I left, thinking all my recalls would be done at end of day. After many phone calls with Aaron, he informed me at 2pm that they were just beginning the recalls.... and that a piece for the headlight call needed to be ordered for the recall. Don't know why it wasn't ordered when I scheduled four weeks ago??? THEN I was having to schedule another day to get the headlight recall completed... over the phone I asked for a car to be lined up for me because due to their error (not ordering the piece and wasting my time), I was having to take another day off work to get this done.... and over the phone they said they would gladly have one for me. I scheduled THREE WEEKS OUT for the last recall to finally be done, which happened to be today. I show up at my appointment on time and tell them I'm in for a recall and that I'm supposed to have a car. They tell me that I was put down as an oil change? and there's no car available? and there's no piece ordered for me??? So I drove 45 minutes there for nothing :). Overall, ask for anyone in service but Aaron. The fact that I have felt with his incompetence not once but twice?? Wasted my time, gas and patience dealing with all this over the past month.

Sold me a Hyundai Tucson one month later the fog lights falling from the inside out (exterior lights at the bottom)Months go by issues with engine had to get full new engine thankfully under warranty. Few more months radio messing up all electrical is going crazy doors not opening completely shut from inside and out friends had to jump through windows to get in my car. Traded in for a GMC Sierra. - can't drive it since bought it. Won't take care of the issues spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS to fix it- temp fixed it jerked snd sputter every time I drove it- went to Chevy dealership couldn't fix it - went to probably 10 people to fix car - still not fixed

I was interested in a "test drive" yesterday morning while my Hyundai was being serviced since it was only 8am and atmosphere was extremely quiet. It was the perfect time!I located a "friendly" salesman named Caleb. We took a walk outside and I admired the HYUNDAI SUV'S paint jobs with "glitter in the paint": MY FAVORITE as my current vehicle has same .Then off we two went for a "test drive" in a timely manner.I must note that this particular salesman; Mr. Caleb allowed me: the customer to ask all the MANY QUESTIONS I HAD ..and yes I had plenty..from How to adjust mirrors. To How to fold back seats down, To How to switch from needle "olden days' speedometer to the NEW DIGITAL SPEEDOMETER "EVERYONE'S FAVORITE IN 2023". HE took time to listen and answered everything in detail thoroughly WHICH ALL CUSTOMERS APPRECIATE!! When we older folks desire to take time out from our "easy older life" to look at an upcoming UPGRADED VEHICLE within a few more months..We acknowledge that the salesperson whom is helping us is responsive, pleasant and is familiar with the vehicles he/she are selling but THE TRUTH IS many salespeople are not familiar with all the NEW 2023 "MANY HORNS AND WHISTLES" AND I laugh as I say this..because when I purchased my HYUNDAI THREE YEARS AGO .I was not familiar with SIRIUS RADIO and I so love it!! Us Customers will tell others about our "test drive" experience and salesperson as well when We share about the new or used vehicle we enjoyed driving to all our family and friends and also to those WHOM WE MEET WHOM ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW OR USED VEHICLE AS WELL .I have met people whom say to me: The dealership is great: their salespeople suck! I am just being honest!All dealerships can conclude: Their salespeople represent their business. It takes SERIOUS TEAM WORK to run a large REPUTABLE CAR DEALERSHIP as Keith Hawthorne Hyundai dealership in Gastonia, NC and from the salespeople, to service department employees to finance employees: ALL WORK TOGETHER to process all needed documents to ensure you, me, us THE CUSTOMERS are given the best care and receive the best interest rate available to "sign the deal" and promptly be on your way in the vehicle YOU/I CHOOSE!ALL that mattered when I purchased my vehicle 3 years ago was "I want this vehicle; let's do it! And Christian in financing did just that! We went with GM FINANCIAL, I wanted to cry: I was so happy! I personally Salute and Commend all employees at Keith Hawthorne Hyundai dealership in Gastonia, NC as THERE IS NO OTHER DEALERSHIP that I recommend to purchase a vehicle from Because:All vehicle new and pre-owned receive LIFETIME TRANSMISSION,LIFETIME ENGINE, AND THIS DOES INCLUDE TURBOS AS WELL!I have been fully extremely satisfied with my Hyundai and know my next soon to be upgrade will DEFINENTLY be at Keith HAWTHORNE'S !Keep up the good work employees, stay ahead of the game..learn all you can about the vehicles you are selling and ENJOY THE RIDE. Such a great experience trading out our 2022 tuscon for a 2023. Met was so patient and worked with us eventhough I am incredibly particular and sometimes hard to work with lol. I absolutely LOVE my 2023 Tuscon and I will absolutely be coming back to buy an Elantra next year! Thank you so much for putting up with me and getting me a much better deal on a brand new car than I had on my 2022. You're the best.
