My husband and I had the awesome opportunity to work directly with Krystle Mall of SouthState Bank. Krystle was both honest and knowledgable, and provided out of the box skills and guidance in assisting us with our financial needs. Her willingness and compassion as an individual was very apparent when she agreed to accommodate our hectic schedule by meeting with my husband and me on a Sunday. Krystle is a great representation of the SouthState Bank institution and the excellent quality of service they exemplify, . We would recommend SouthState for your financial needs.

Never In my life, have I seen a bank with so many issues with their online banking. It’s almost everyday, there is something wrong with online banking. This is so aggravating ? Thinking about switching banks.

Now I'm not one to Go to the ATM, rather see a Teller and Engage with the folks handling my cash but HERE I just got to the ATM for everything... The service lacks the basic customer skills, I want my Teller or Banker happy to see me. The mood in there is never very cheerful. Welp, there are two Tellers there that Smile and are welcoming. A African American woman often has her pulled up and a Asian gentlemen!Other then That...... ATM I Go at My Own Bank?

I have banked here for almost 2 years now! The customer service I receive here is UNMATCHED!! Everyone is ALWAYS friendly and very helpful. The branch is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Anyone looking for friendly reliable, knowledgeable services, should definitely bank here! I actually NEVER go to the ATM seeing that the indoor and drive thru service is impeccable! I AM MORE THAN SATISFIED WITH THIS BRANCH!!! ?

I have had accounts at 3 different banks besides South State and they are BY FAR the best bank. They always greet you when you walk in and ask about your day. I had fraud on my debit card after using it at a gas station, and they cancelled it immediately and printed me a new debit card to use that same day. I love all of the ladies there. The drive thru sometimes has a line, but just like Chick fil A, they get you in and out and it’s always their pleasure.I was sad when the Martha Rivers branch closed. BUT they moved those ladies over to New Hope and now you have all of them together at one location and it’s amazing. They seem like family there and it seems like they know all of their customers really well.And the mobile banking app is the best because I still have an account at a credit union, and I can see all of my accounts and credit cards under the app at the same time.The ATM goes down here and there at this location. But I don’t mind seeing the tellers for my deposits.

THIS HAS BEEN A GREAT BANK UNTIL RECENTLY. NOW YOU CANNOT GET TO A PERSON AT THE BANK TO HELP . ALL IS ONLY BY MACHINES AND COMPUTER WHICH TO ME IS WAY LESS THAN ADEQUATE.

Very bad experience!!!Arrived there 20 min piror to the close and the banker, Micheal, said "she will be right back with me". However, after 15 min formulae with the guest before me, she finally invited me in the office and told me that she will be off and she can't do overtime. I have to go with nothing done! She was so confident that made me feel like I did something wrong...I happened to visit a Chase branch in New York not long ago. What did they do? They locked the door at the close time, finished the business for every guests and escort us out.They are serving people okay? The service of South State Bank feels like a North Korea bureal. Yeah, they are slow and always say we are closed, come tomorrow.

Needed some cash Saturday, September 12. Went to the ATM and this location apparently was out of money as it told me it was unable to process my transaction. Went next door to BOA paid $6.00 but was able to get cash from my account. What Bank doesn't make sure the ATM has cash going into the weekend?

tried to open an account and I don't meet the criteria. Why don't I meet it?? Now they can charge me $8.00 to cash a weekly paycheck DRAWN out of their bank. STAY AWAY. The manager sounded like a punk 30 year old that could stay awake after a rough weekend.
