Purchased flooring for a home that I purchased last year. I have installed floors in two of my previous homes and never had an issue. Installed the floors and they began to break apart. Went back to Home Depot and was told that I would need to purchase the floors again because they would not send an installer to make repairs to a floor that was not laid professionally. So I purchased all new floors, had a "professional" from Romanoff Renovations install them. The installer told me the issue was that some of my subflooring was rotting and that he would make all the repairs for an additional $1400. I paid him and he completed the work. A few months later the floors are breaking apart again, contacted Home Depot, they sent the installer's manager to my home who then said I had foundation issues.... I just bought this house and had all inspections completed.... So my realtor hires a structural engineer to come inspect my home and guess what?!? No foundation issues, just some poorly performed subflooring repairs!!! So back to Home Depot again.... They refund me the $1400 but only are willing to have their installer make repairs after I repair the subflooring that their installer was supposed to repair!!! So I go to the BBB and Home Depot customer service contacts me, it is a back and forth with them saying their installer just leveled the floor until I sent them text messages showing the conversation. They even sent me an email admitting that their installer was not licensed to make the repairs to the subfloor. Now they want to refund my money and essentially divorce me as a customer!!! This does not cover the damage that has been done because of the installers poor work!!!

One of our places to shop for gardening and home improvement items throughout the year. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the products. So, don't be afraid to ask for help. You definitely will save money in the long run.

After a thoroughly frustrating trip to the Franklin Blvd Lowe's where we left with no items we went to the Franklin Blvd Home Depot. This store has friendly, helpful employees. The store is clean and organized which is refreshing after the disaster at Lowe's. There are not enough good things to say about this store. I definitely recommend Home Depot over Lowe's if you are in Gastonia!!! Stay clear of Lowe's!!! Employees at this Home Depot are so much nicer and obviously take pride in their customer service!!!!

Best box store in Gaston county. Lowe's is trying to have a monopoly but Home Depot puts a stop to that. I only shop here for home improvement needs.

They obviously don't care to sell their washers and dryers. Leaving literally saw 4 employees standing and talking but no one to ask questions on their washers and dryers. So we left!!!

They have gone out of there way to help me get the pieces to complete my patio project more than once. Also were very helpful when I was lookng for items in the store. I will definitely use them again for my next project!! Great customer service, friendly and helpful employees

This absolutely one of the worst Big Box Stores. I will always prefer the other Blue Store over Home Depot. Another terrible experience this morning dealing with an employee who continued to get smart with me and showed zero empathy. For starters why cant you purchase mulch online?? I had to go in the store and purchase the mulch and then the woman said that they didnt have anyone to get it so I would have to get it my self. Mind yo,u this was said with attitude. So then she lied and said I would have to order the mulch online and then someone can load it for me. I politely told her that is not an option on the website. After that she abruptly said "Well sir...there is no one to help you". What kind of business is this?? I had already purchased the mulch with her and when I asked her if there was estimate on time she again abruptly stated that "I dont know...they are busy with something else". At that point I was fed up and cancelled my order...which of course she was so happy to do. I literally went down the street to the "Blue Store" and was literally in and out in 15 min. The workers were extremely helpful and timely. Home Depot...you have a lot of work to do because what just took place isn't cutting it. You could literally have the same item as other stores for cheaper and I still wouldn't purchase it.

I purchased a riding lawn mower from Gastonia store location. At first they wanted to charge me $79 to deliver it and when I pointed out they were advertising "Free Delivery", they said "yeah I guess we are". The model I wanted wasn't assembled so I opted to buy another one that was to be delivered the following day (6am-7pm)- they could't tell me when unless I paid extra for specific timeframe. Fast forward as I have been waiting all day and decided to call at 5pm to get an update... waited on hold for over 30 minutes and when someone finally answered they put me back on hold - WTF? When someone else answered, she told me the same spiel with delivery time, now up to 8pm... ok so I wait. i get a callback from the store saying the delivery date was for the following week! Needless to say i am going up there in person to give them a piece of my mind and get a refund!

Recently bought a Brinly broadcast spreader to pull behind my lawn tractor/mower. Got a reasonable price plus Home Depot assembled the thing saving me a lot of time and aggravation. Got it home with some difficulty ( it poorly fit in my compact SUV) and when I went to use it several days later it would not spread the fertilizer. IT WAS PUT TOGETHER INCORRECTLY! Called HD and they said to bring it back and they would reassemble it. I did just that, again with difficulty. A few days later they called me and told me the spreader had been reassembled and that I could come and pick it up. I explained that transporting this thing was difficult for me and that I thought that since it was their fault that reassembly was necessary that they should bring it back to me. To make a long story short they agreed with me and waived the normal $79 delivery charge. They delivered my spreader today and all seems to be just fine. I believe that this is very good customer service and I will definitely give HD my business in the future.

Today, Home Depot delivered my new GE Electric Range as promised on September 26th. The delivery crew was absolutely wonderful. They installed a bracket to keep the range from tipping over, carried in the range on straps, plugged in the range and put it in place. Then one of the crew turned on all the burners to make certain they came on, set the clock and gave a brief instruction for use. Both gentlemen could not have been more polite, kind and considerate. I think this is the best purchase and delivery experience I have ever had. Thank you Home Depot, Salesman and Delivery Crew.

Never had I had such attitude trying to return an item. Even the manager had an immediate attitude. I have never had an issue with Lowe's returning ANYTHING! Now I see why the ratings are so low at this store. Home Depot will not seeing any more of our money and we are currently building a new home and spending allot!
