The drive thru pharmacy sucks.. they'll tell you your order is ready then when you get there it's all off a sudden gone! Waited 45 min in line for that.

I went to Walgreens in Bessemer City NC to pick up my prescription at 5:55 that was sent from urgent care! Pharmacy tech “Liz “tells me it is not there , she doesn’t have anything for me, but I could come back in 40 minutes! I said that’s ok, I will just wait for it! I sit down , and then five minutes later Liz starts closing the gates ! I ask her if they are closing , and she says yes! So I asked her why didn’t she just tell me that they were closing in five minutes?? She says we don’t have your medication. It hasn’t come through yet. I reply that I understand that, but why would you tell me to come back in 40 minutes, if you knew you were closing in five minutes?? I then asked her why wouldn’t you just tell me that you were closing in five minutes ? That you aren’t going to be able to fill my order , and to come back tomorrow?? She again tells me, they don’t have my medication. I am well aware that my medication hasn’t gone through yet. I said, but you were just going to leave?? You were just going to lock up?? You were just going to just leave me out here?? She continued repeating herself , that she didn’t have the medication. Obviously after saying this 3 to 4 times, that was clear. What wasn’t clear was the communication or lack there of. She says she didn’t see me sitting out there, but I am directly in front of you! Then she says she was going to tell me they were closing! Which is it ? Did you not see me?? Or were you going to tell me you were closing?? It can’t be both !! A simple hey we don’t have it , we open back tomorrow at this time , we can fill this tomorrow would have sufficed! The audacity to lock the doors and close the gate while I’m sitting there right in front of you , as if you don’t see me is disgusting . Also to lie to me ,to get me to leave and come back later, knowing you aren’t going to be here is shameful! Liz lacks integrity ,which as someone who also works in healthcare knows that is a big part of healthcare! So then I ask to speak to the pharmacist, since we weren’t getting anywhere!!. I repeat this back to the pharmacist, and she is just as nonchalant and didn’t grasp what the issue was either. It was not the fact that you didn’t have it, it’s the fact that you did not communicate with me, and she was going to lock the doors and leave me sitting here as if you don’t see me sitting here waiting for it! This was extremely disrespectful, downright rude and utterly unprofessional ! Extreme lack of communication and respect! Do better! Signed a very upset customer!!!! I wish I could give 0 stars!!

This has got to be the worst pharmacy around. They miraculously have a 3.0 rating. I went there on 11/4 for a covid test before I could return to work after showing symptoms. It now one week later (11/11) and I still have no results. The patient portal keeps showing that the lab has not received my sample. After a call to the store on 11/9, I was told that all the tests for 11/4 were showing "pending". Did they lose all the samples? After sitting at home all these days without pay, I will be eligible to return to work Monday without a test. Thanks for nothing.

Waiting in An excessively long line for over 45 minutes at drive thru! Called in and told them I’m in pain, can’t walk and I’m in line what is the issue ??? Their response was it takes long because they administer Covid test at drive thru. There’s a sign stating you can use 2 lanes to pick up prescriptions however there is only one lane!!!! So everyone literally has to wait an insane amount of time. Walgreens you need to open both lanes or take out the Covid test at drive thru simple. Terrible location

Customer service was awful had an appointment for covert vaccination stood at the calendar for approximately 5 minutes people was walking past me I had no worker acknowledge that I was there it took for someone else to come up behind me before they acknowledged me when it was time for me to get my vaccination the door was wide open so all privacy or confidentiality was violated I did not get a hey how you doing got my vaccine did not get no run down about what to do or what to take stay in the store for 15 minutes I don't know what's my first visit and it's my last visit I'm so disappointed stayed on the line trying to call customer service for an hour to discuss this unbearable customer service
