Half of the time I come here their produce is moldy. Specifically on the berries - blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, sometimes grapes. Other than that it’s a fine experience

Aldi is the best!! It's easy to get through and always a quick shopping experience. I can get about 90% of what I need when I'm grocery shopping and the prices are fabulous.

There’s absolutely no reason there should be one register open… and this is an issue 9 out of 10 times I go here. I enjoy the Aldi brand cause of the quality and pricing but THIS is the part I cannot stand… and it’s specifically this locations main issue. It’s honestly ridiculous that there’s hardly staff, why doesn’t this location have self checkout. TERRIBLE… even for Goldsboro.

If you've never been to an Aldi, you should know that it's not exactly like a regular grocery store.
Most items are their own brand, though they do feature higher quality outside brands from time to time.
They carry most staples but occasionally there will be things you won't be able to find.
Best points about Aldi:
- Produce is usually excellent.
- Good selection of fancy cheeses, chocolate and wine.
- Great Prices!!!
Drawbacks:
- The Checkout lines can be long. Often the wait to checkout is longer than it took me to collect the items I needed.
- Limited amount of items. I often have to make a second stop for a couple of things they don't carry.
- You do not have the option of just buying one or two if something (potatoes, onions, lemons, jalapeño, etc...) and often at least one item in the bag is bad.
- Item options may be limited. I.e. you have to buy a quart of heavy cream because a pint is not an option.
However, service is friendly and I save a lot if money by shopping at Aldi.

Very clean,well stocked, friendly cashier. Great prices! Good products. I'm trying a few items at each visit to make sure I like them, and I've started purchasing half of my grocery list here, and my grocery bill is already cut down considerably. The only thing that I don't like is that only one cashier was open every time. Long lines are aggravating. Wish they had self checkout or even better, scan and go, which I absolutely love at sam's club. Recommend shopping here. The savings are worth it.

4 stars only because of my experience today (store is great) :
took my usual biweekly trip today and had a really disappointing experience. One of the employees — an African American woman — was visibly irritated, huffing and puffing the entire time, and had a terrible attitude toward multiple customers. She acted like she didn’t want to be there at all and made the environment uncomfortable. I’ve worked some difficult jobs myself, but I’ve never taken it out on the people I was there to serve. What really bothered me was how she spoke to a Hispanic woman who didn’t speak fluent English — she talked to her like she was unintelligent, which was completely uncalled for and disrespectful. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Someone needs a serious refresher on customer service and basic human decency.
