Disappointing service at this retail AT&T store . I was told by Asurion that my damaged phone could be ported to my replacement at the AT&T. As soon as I asked
The question the young guy , immediately said it can not be done. I explained what I was told and. Basically said I was told wrong . What bothered me the most is that he did not ask a co worker to make sure he was correct or give other options to help me . I lost everything in my phone which I explained . No empathy , no suggestions , not knowledgeable in customer service , product escalations ,options and a lack of care . As I stated in my survey , this is a trend that I see at most AT&T retail stores , if it is not sales related no one wants to give you quality of service .this company hires very young employees , and for a person like me that is almost 60 years old , they have no clue how to communicate effectively and they definitely will not try and guide you to options before they basically rush you out . These employees need to be trained better around customer service not just sales. As a retired VP for a National Bank for 29 years , customer service was paramount and our company took this very seriously and held the team members accountable . You can lose customers easily due to incompetence and terrible service .This AT&T I pray I will not have to go there again . Very sad .
