The only reason it is getting 2 stars instead of one is due to the one nice front desk lady and the lady who helped me get coffee. To start I travel A LOT like about 1/3 of the year I am in a hotel. I do not believe I have EVER had to use my jacket as a pillow due to the pillows being so incredibly uncomfortable. Also I had asked for a late checkout and the nice lady obliged. I had privacy please hanging on my door yet the housekeeping staff I guess decided to knock about 9:45 and wake me up. I had been up at about 4:30am the day before and didn't get to sleep until close to 2am so as you can imagine I was not thrilled. To make matters worse at 11:15 another knock, this time questioning my late checkout (which was 12:00)...she continued to argue with me through my door that they didn't have record of it. Super RUDE...I never opened the door and didn't leave the room until close to noon! Truly unreal to have staff so rude and to knock not once but TWICE before I was due out of the room even with a privacy hanger! I strongly suggest staying elsewhere!

A very good place for staying.

I never have problems with beds and have spent a lot of time sleeping on floors and in cars with no issue, but the bed here absolutely destroyed my back. The floors in the hallways and my room were dirty/sticky upon arrival and throughout the stay. Desk staff was just going through the motions and not very welcoming. All first world problems, but for the price I'd go elsewhere.

The hotel itself is nice, my room was clean, plenty of available parking, plenty of restaurants close by, only problem we had was the service. Everytime we needed something we were told they didnt have it or they had to borrow from another hotel. Overall I would do a overnight stay.

I spoke with the General Manager Edward and I was concerned about the way he interacted with me on the phone! Yes I was very upset with my situation at the hotel and he was trying to explain to me that I had no reason to be upset with the way things were handled at this moment! I told him that I had traveled all over the world in my twenty four years in the military and that this was the worst hotel that I had ever been to. He told me that if I did not like it to never come back to this hotel! I told him that day one no heat in the room! The internet so sorry I had one dot not even a bar! They did not empty the trash or clean the room! I reported this to the attendant on night shift! They just moved me to another room! This what really made me upset was the fact that when I talked to him he tried to take over the conversation and not hear me saying anything bad about his hotel! He hung up several times telling me that if I didn’t like it don’t come back! Does he have a boss? The stay was terrible and the place had roaches! It was my fault because I should’ve demanded my money and find another hotel with much better accommodations!

This is the second time we've stayed at this Best Western, and we'll be back. To start, the front desk staff are very friendly and personable, they are also very competent and helpful. They'd always greet us with a smile and ask if we needed anything. The location, although a little confusing, is great and there's plenty of parking. The area is fairly quiet, right across the street from Walmart. However, the homeless are moving in - there was a homeless camp within a half mile of the hotel. The bathroom was well appointed and had plenty of towels. The only downside? Breakfast is only open from 6:30 to 8:30 am, and weekends -7:30 - 9:30. There were no go bags available. One desk clerk stood out from the other staff. Narissa (not sure of the spelling but this is close.) The owner of this hotel needs to give all of the employees a raise to keep them - the owner was lucky to find employees like these!Rooms: Nice and comfy, great bathroom.

The majority of this establishment is dirty and I saw absolutely no housekeeping in the 2 nights of our stay. (The 2 members of staff I saw in charge of breakfast were the only friendly, professional and clean employees we saw) Elevator was filthy, rugs were a mess and in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Bed was horrendously uncomfortable and seriously overdue for replacement, it had an enormous crater in the center with half size pillows smaller than a decent sized throw pillow. The linen at least was clean. There was also mold around the tub in bathroom and a hairdryer that was so dirty I wouldn't touch it.The front desk staff barely acknowledged our presence and never asked about anything like in other establishments where I have at least been asked if everything was okay or if anything was needed. Left one day earlier than planned because it was so bad. Seriously turned off the the idea of ever staying at a best western ever again.Noteworthy details: The most noteworthy detail I can include is don't stay at this hotel.

We were staying for a week, you have to request housekeeping a day in advance which didn't actually happen and there is a member of the staff at the front desk who is just rude and unfriendly. I most likely will not be making reservations here again.Food & drinks: The Lady who's in charge of Breakfast is simply Divine!

I stayed here two nights for my son’s soccer tournament on Nov 16/17. It’s a filthy hotel. Cockroaches everywhere, elevator didn’t work and I was eaten alive by bed bugs (see pics). A nasty musty smell in room and lobby. I communicated with the manager, Mr. Davis, about my dissatisfaction and he was downright rude and unprofessional.

This trip included stays in Albemarle, NC, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Goldsboro, NC. All BWs and all great experiences. I won't stay anywhere but a BW when I travel.Nearby activities: The hotel is located in an area central to many dining choices and nearby shopping.

Patria at the front desk was super busy but she took her time to check me in a little early and gave me her full attention. She was very professional. Room was clean and perfectly acceptable. Thank you!

Hotel is very average, but the staff is rude and largely incompetent. Other than the breakfast lady who was super helpful and friendly. Next trip to Goldsboro will definitely be at a different hotel.
