The Exchange at Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro, North Carolina, offers a convenient shopping destination for military personnel and their families. Open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., it provides a variety of items, including uniforms, electronics, groceries, and household products. The store features a few eateries, such as Subway and the Sushi Shack inside the commissary, as well as a barber shop, dry cleaner, GNC, and Vista Optical. Parking is ample, and the store is considered a decent stop-gap when other options are unavailable, though prices outside the base tend to be cheaper for everyday items. While the customer service counter can be painfully slow, staff members are generally helpful and kind, often going beyond expectations. The shopping experience is easy, with many choices available, and the store is not the biggest but still offers a nice variety of products. Overall, it is a helpful and friendly place, making it a regular stop for visitors from the local area.
First time shopping here, some items were priced below average cost, but didn't see a( wide selection) of products in any one department.

service at the customer service counter is painfully slow, so be prepared to wait. The store itself is a decent stop-gap when you don’t have other options, but prices off base are definitely better for everyday items.

Main Exchange has a little bit of everything. Busiest by far was the barber shop. Plenty of parking. Only two eateries: Subway and the Sushi Shack (just inside commissary).
