When I worked in the first time I could tell that the energy was off. Almost as if the two white women working didn’t want to help me. When I first came in I was waiting for someone to acknowledge me, these two women kept talking like I didn’t walk into the store. The look on there faces was very off putting and made me feel uncomfortable. Finally someone asked what I needed, it was an envelope to place papers in. It took them damn near ten mins to find what I needed. One of the workers then hands me the envelope and then goes on about her business while I’m waiting to pay for the envelope which felt like another 10 mins. After while the worker asked what else I needed and I told her that I wanted to pay for this and I would come back. That’s when she let me know it was free, which wasn’t the problem but why did I have to wait 10 mins to find that out. Like I said, it was clear these women didn’t really want to help me, they didn’t want me in the store for the energy they were giving and it’s very unfortunately this store is the only full service site.
