Furniture, household necessities, & doors & windows, light fixtures, & mattresses...if you need it, just stop in and browse both upstairs & downstairs...you will be amazed at the selection, low prices, & all the treasures ?

Used to love this location. There’s been a recent change in management and that has greatly affected their pricing. Items are donated and they hike up the prices in a ridiculous manner. Also they always seem to have more than one person at the register for some reason, unnecessary.

This is the Habitat Restore in Wayne County. They use the money the make to help build Habitat houses. They have a variety of items to purchase. You never know what you will find there, so you need to go often to see what you can find. The staff is friendly and helpful ifvyou need assistance with anything. It us all for a good cause, so if you get a chance go there to shop. You can also donate items that they can sell in the store to raise more money. Consider doing either or both. You might find something you can't live without.

This morning I decided to give a tenth of my sixty thousand settlement to Habitat. The answering machine told me to unblock my number! That’s a large price to pay to have total control! I am donating to another company.

As with all Restores, the merchandise reflects the donor pool. Some items are fantabulistic, and lots more came out of tract homes. Visit often; the truly wonderful or rare items don't last. People know the value of vintage today. We can price check on our phones....I believe that the stores doing business under the Restore brand have pricing guidelines to follow and are not free to set whatever price they want. A board member of a different county Habitat explained to me that because their mission was to build houses, the Restores are a fund-raising vehicle. Sometimes they raise a few more funds than my wallet would prefer, but that's not my call.I try to stop by this Restore on Saturdays when I'm in Goldsboro. I have found a few wonderful knick knacks and sometimes, some great fabric. Not shopping for furniture or clothing right now. YMMV.
