Moving to a new base pharmacy is always “interesting” as you figure out the process for each base. The Seymour Johnson Pharmacy staff is friendly and informative. Wait time is usually less than an hour. When moving to a new area I always recommend getting paper scripts from your doctor when going to a new base. Once established electronic scripts are fine just remember to “activate” to shorten your visit. They also have a password secured pickup location at the exchange.

The SJAB pharmacy had many good qualities and I appreciate the benefits I receive through the pharmacy. They so however have some strange policies that add to the frustration of their patrons. If an MD faxes in a prescription for you, you then have to call to activate it before they will fill it. The last time I called to activate a prescription, I was on hold for 53 minutes!!! That is ridiculous & frustrating! They make changes that seem to make things better & then do something that makes it even worse! It's time to go back to the drawing board & make improvements.

I had a scheduled appointment for my child's sports physical. When I showed up, I was turned away and told that they didn't see her in their system. They told.me to just leave the physical form since she had a physical in NM within the last year. That doesn't give us any opportunity to ask questions we were wanting to ask in addition to having the paperwork in time since we needed it the same day as her scheduled appointment. The situation had me second guessing myself on the date and time so I left, in the car I called the appointment line and confirmed that I was there for the correct date and time, but at thag point so much time had passed to even go back and try to get her to be seen for the appointment she was in fact scheduled for.

Just had my 1st COVID-19 shot and as a retiree it was a pleasure to see such a wonderful group of professionals at work. Friendly, courteous, always checking on everyone to make sure they understood the process or if they were feeling ok. Kudos to 4 MDG! Team of the year in my opinion.

The facility is very nice and clean and everyone is always respectful. However, the pharmacy is very poorly run. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone. Sometimes the phones are simply turned off, sometimes they ring and then you are disconnected, sometimes you wait in the phone line and once they finally answer immediately put you back on hold and then hang up. As I type this I have been trying to get a hold of them for 40 minutes. The phone rang for over 8 minutes befo

Super nice staff and volunteers. Just have to usually wait for hour or so every month when bring new rx. Except 2 months ago, I was in and out in 30 min. That was nice. Overall experience not to bad, just the wait times. But, waiting for hour or so is worth it to have no co pay every month. So gotta take the bad with the good.
