“On our way down to Busco Beach ATV Park, we blew a tire on our trailer. Fortunately, we had a spare and the tools to put it on quickly! Once we got back on the road, I called four tire shops in the Goldsboro area because we wanted to purchase a new spare in case another issue arose during our trip. Because the tire was semi-size and is apparently hard-to-find, all four shops told me they couldn't help us. My fifth call was to Goldsboro Tire Pros and, lo and behold, they had a couple of our weirdo-sized tires in stock and would still be open by the time we arrived to Goldsboro! When we pulled up to their impeccably clean and well-maintained shop, my boyfriend rolled the wheel in, paid for the tire, and we were out of there in 15 minutes! Their service guy even loaded it into the back of my Tahoe! This place is the best and just oozes with that small, family business vibe that we all want to support! Be sure to check them out, they are amazing! Thank you so much for taking the stress out of our trip!!”

“My husband and I have been going to Grease Monkey (formally Retrolube) our whole marriage. 20 years! We have always had wonderful service and warm welcomes. Mr. Willie in particular has always treated us with kindness, respect and knowledge of his profession. He is the kind of person we should all strive to be.”

“My car was shaking every time I was braking. I took it to Frankie and he knew exactly what it was, I made an appointment a few days later. I dropped my car off and figured it would take about a week, waiting for the parts. His lovely wife gave me a ride home. He had it done within two days and that was with waiting for parts to come in. They are a lovely couple that treat their customers like family. Good honest work and a good price. I strongly recommend.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow, 5 stars isn't enough!

Daniel went above and beyond. I honestly can't thank him enough. I shopped three different transmission shops and chose AAMCO specifically for the nationwide warranty coverage. What I got was so much more than just a warranty.

After my transmission left me stranded in South Carolina, I had the van towed home. Once I talked with Daniel, I immediately felt comfortable, not just with his pricing, but with him as a mechanic and person. Cheaper isn't always better. Real customer service is the gold standard, especially after you've done your research.

A month after he replaced the transmission, I was stressing a little about taking it on a long road trip. I called and asked if he could do a quick check-up the day before I left (I know I should have scheduled it earlier!). Even on short notice, he made the time for me. I made it to my destination with zero issues. The van is running in tip-top shape.

If you're looking for a transmission shop in Goldsboro, NC, put this AAMCO location on your list. Daniel has such a calm, patient attitude that makes it easy to explain what’s going on, even when you're making those awkward car noises trying to describe the problem ?.

I highly recommend AAMCO in Goldsboro, NC and especially Daniel. Top-notch work and service!”

“Went there today to get my service done to my suburan transmission it took them 2 and 1/2 hours to 3 hours to get the work done the price was fair they quoted me 325 dollars for the work and checy quoted me 350 dollars plus shop supplies and everything else. So I went here i couldn't say anything bad they were nice and professional. I would go back there.”

“2016 Suburban SLT I lost a GM transmission twice. First one at 90K and the second one (new not a rebuild GM) at 100k. Jennings put in a new transmission with a Bosh heavy duty torque converter- re piped the transmission cooler and replaced a bad motor mount. I’ve waited 10,000Miles to write this to see how it ran. I’ve just returned from the Smokey Mountains. Banner Elk is above 4,500 feet. Trans never ran over 151 degrees. In years past the old GM Trans ran at 200. When pulling my 22’ Tidewater Carolina Bay I run 131 degrees. Not only was Jennings $3000 under the GM price they delivered a superior product!!!!!”
