“Love IGA: at first after moving here I would go to food Lion, but more and more I slowly stopped going all together, IGA has great meat, and prices. Large open store, local vib...a country store feel... definitely my fav now!!!”
“Extensive inventory but they don't sell any mixers. I love all the miniatures and looking at the amazing array of bottle shapes. Closed on Sundays. It is what it is 😉”

“When you can't find it any place else; Publix will carry it. Clean store.
Excellent produce quality, customer service (bagging, carry-out), great deli/prepared foods (fried chicken),
Shop B1G1 sales. Do the research, Publix is generally the most expensive of the grocery stores especially on staples.”
“Decently stocked , friendly staff , ample parking .. a bit out of the way and well hidden , you'd pass it right by if you didn't know it was there . Very non descriptive and bland building ! Fair to moderate prices .”
“Where they know your name, you'll try a beer you haven't had before.. maybe a sour or cider.. options on tap change up often. No food other than bar mix but grab a pizza next door or from your favorite food truck and head in. Inside or outside.. it will be a great visit.”
“Favorite store in Burlington! If you're looking for quality, and to support local products, this is the spot. Great wine, coffee beans, caviar, and more. Ownership is fantastic. Makes you feel part of a community.
I brought some of their products to friends in Germany, and when they came to visit- that's the first place they wanted to go!
10 stars!”
“Great store that combines the feel of a “Main Street” grocery store & butcher shop with a supermarket. The meat department is excellent with selections you don’t find at the big chain stores. In fact, most isles have selections you don’t find anywhere. You can buy all your day to day items those you need for special occasions”
“I only stopped by there to pick up gifts for friends for a dinner outing or when I'm visiting them and the status always very friendly and accommodating when I request cardboard boxes for volunteer projects or when I'm helping people move”
“Shout out to Publix Publix Super Market at Church Street Commons. I was originally told they wouldn’t do the cake I requested, because it wasn’t up to their standards- and “they would never let a cake leave their store looking like that” I settled and just request a pink iced cake. And I would do the decor myself…. I needed to change my pick up time and when I went into the store I spoke to one of the bakers (sorry didn’t get her name) but she said she could do it, and even misspell “happy birthday” per my daughters request, she wanted her cake to look like the one that Haggard gave to Harry in the movie… I know nothing about Harry Potter but according to my daughter, they nailed it! Not to mention it was DELICIOUS. so thank you!!!”
“Favorite liquor store! The only place in Burlington that keeps eggnog ACTUALLY STOCKED! And the cashier gentleman is such a sweetheart, would highly recommend this location over Church St.”
“I’m a recovering alcoholic, I went into this beautiful, wonderful store of dreams and the owner Bartholomew graciously gave me a big ol bottle of don Julio! It was absolutely amazing I relapsed and I’ve never felt better. Even though I’ve now lost my job and my family atleast I got a bottle of ol don by my side!”
“Generally I don’t buy cold cuts from the deli department, not because of the quality, but the lack of speed. The deli department has such a wide variety of cold cuts, seafood salad, and more. Love Boar’s Head brand in particular!
Today 3/5/26, being there wasn’t a line, I decided to place an order. Joanna cut a pound of the Boar’s Head Tavern ham in a flash! It was also precisely how I wanted it cut. So, I used her speed and precision as a gauge so to speak. Because of her, I spent all in all about $80 bucks on meats, salads, and cheese. She more importantly was very courteous and polite, which only made my shopping experience very pleasant.
What’s the only con about shopping at any Lowe’s Foods are their prices on just about everything. I am not necessarily poking at the deli department pricing, but more so dry goods and dairy. That said, the meat and seafood department has great quality foods and the prices aren’t bad. In fact a gentleman working there this morning around 10:30 was very polite and helpful with wrapping up a nice rib eye steak!
I hope that the store or district manager sees this review and Joanna gets a raise because in my opinion, she sets the gold standard in the deli department and overall, how all the employees should carry themselves daily!”
“Fantastic biscuits that put fast food to shame! Don't be swayed by the fact they're grilled in a gas station. People come from miles around to grab them. They even made the newspaper over it a couple years ago. Try to get there early before they run out, because they sometimes do before 8!”
“A++++! Friendly staff who are more than willing to help. I definitely needed suggestions and help when it came to my rum selection. The gentleman who helped me took his time and asked what I was using it to make and discussed the tastes of the different rums with me that he'd personally tasted. I was easily able to choose from there!”
