I’ve had several encounters where I’ve made a deposit and the atm only registers a portion of the deposit to my account. Recently I made a $350 deposit, the atm only acknowledged $250 and DID NOT RETURN the remaining $100 that it didn’t! Did I make a claim & retrieve the money? Sure. But this has happened to me several times. The first time I thought I miscounted and did not pursue a claim, the second time the amount was so small ($2) I didn’t care to go inside, this last time I’m like okay naaaaa.. I can only imagine the amount of money the atm has taken and people not notice! Oh and am I the only one that can’t seem to get approved for ANYTHING with this bank, it’s like they LIVE to send denials out? ??♀️ Yeah time to migrate.

I have been banking with truist for a very long time. I was with them when they were bb&t. Very clean bank. Very friendly employees.

have had numerous sloppy transactions since they merged with my BB&T bank. i wish BB*T had remained its own bank. all these mergers do not help small consumers. i plan to switch to another banking system, a smaller one.

Unfriendly tellers on multiple occasions. They rush you out as soon as you come in. Never had an issue at any other banks exchanging bills not being a member, but here I was turned away and treated like it would be a problem. I had small denominations and since I was not a member, I was told they couldn’t do that. (It was under $200 worth)My family relocated to this area recently, and we’ve considered changing to Truist Bank, but not if it’s like this.

Worst bank ever.Melody was no help didn’t even reach out for extrA help. The bank is holding my funds no reason at all for 6 days. Which makes me behind on over bills.

How difficult is it to have a functional ATM in Graham NC? Every time I come here it is broken, and for months it wouldn’t take BB&T transactions. You guys are the worst bank in history of banks. Can’t wait to change to state employees credit union tomorrow.

Been a SunTrust customer for 20+ years. Since the merger, I have had the most TERRIBLE customer service. They turned my card off then sent a new one to an address that I haven't lived at in over 7 years after a fraud alert that I could have fixed myself. Called the fraud number and a man named Charlene answered the phone with much attitude and no listening ears. Patiently waiting for 9 a.m. to set an in store visit to close my account.

Never been a fan of SunTrust, but BB&T merged with them at this location. ATM doesn’t seem to be full service for BB&T clients as deposits aren’t an option. Only one ATM in the county now for that.

Did not have an appointment and only waited 5 minutes before someone helped me. Took care of everything within 15 minutes. Fast and efficient. Great service!

Opened a checking account several months ago with SunTrust bank (liked my current bank but they only have one location in NC). Good experience but only sent a debit card for me. Went in one day to order one for my wife while she was at the dentist. Waited in the lobby 20 minutes while the banker made casual small talk with another customer. My 4 year old daughter was with me and milling around the lobby so I know we didn't go unnoticed. I was forced to leave as I had to get my son from school. Noticed their mobile app wouldn't let me sign on at all from day one which was the other reason I went in. Soon after, I received a letter saying they were merging with another bank (Piemont Trust Bank, BBandT) and that I didn't have to do anything because more info would come. Explains the mobile app issue (maybe). Put in the back of mind for awhile as I was not a priority to them so I was in no hurry to correct it as I had an active account with another bank that I was using. Fast forward to the middle of a global pandemic. Due to essentially being denied access to my account and therefore not using, they hit me with a bunch of fees that over withdrew the account. They had the audacity to just send me a letter saying im now negative $75, they closed my account, and sent me to collections in the middle of a global pandemic at a time that mortgage and rent payments are being halted due to an unprecedented economic collapse. Mind you, my account had money in it up until they started charging their own fees which drew the account negative. #1 I really question the value they place in their customers as I never had convenient access to my account in the first place (thus why I didn't use it) and #2 I really question the timing and approach they chose to act in a predatory manner to collect money that rightfully isn't due to them anyway. Besides this review, you bet I'll be writing a strongly worded letter to their collections department and CEO. If necessary to involve the media, I will. If I have to tell every one of their customers in our boy scout pack, I will. If I have to tell every co-worker I work with (5 stores worth of employees), I will. If I have to tell every one of my customers (I see 5 a day on average), I will. Do not use this sad excuse for a bank. They are a text book example why many Americans scream that we should have let the banks fail in '08

I spent over an hour online trying to set up an online banking portal and nobody could help me. I spent 5 minutes at this branch and they had my account set up seamlessly. Phenomenal customer service and I will be returning to this branch.

Charged me to cash one of there own checks cause I don't bank with them. Don't deal with them.!!!!!!!!!!
