You know, I’ve never experienced this in my life. The liquor store closes at 9pm, I’m completely aware of this. I’m spending time with my mother and lost track of time but still made it before 9pm at 8:59pm. I have been to plenty of liquor stores around NC and as long as you make it inside the store before 9pm you are good to buy liquor. However this location has a cop, that literally put his hands on me refusing to let me inside, BEFORE 9PM! I hate to pull this card but I’m almost sure it was because of my race. I have never been denied entry in any ABC Store at 8:59pm. Only ones inside were of course white people and a white cop. The cop literally goes ‘you have 15 seconds’ and I tried walking in and he literally shoved me out of the door & tells me ‘ma’am you cannot come inside’ raises his voice and everything. I felt immediately uncomfortable & confused. None of this was warranted! Please avoid this location, specifically if you’re black. I have never felt so nervous for myself, I will never return here.

This ABC location is always super busy however I've never seen the lines backed up. They are super quick and efficient with attending to all the customers. If your looking for an easy interaction this is the place to be. Get what you need and go!!

Very friendly employees. Has a very weird entrance and exit you enter on one side and you exit on the other so pay attention to that.
