We rented a container to move. We were very please with the drop of process and pick up of our full container and the drivers were great. They were supposed to store the container for two days and deliver it Friday afternoon which I was charged extra for a specific time frame. I called them at 3:30 PM to confirm the delivery that day and they said it was still Scheduled and it could be anytime during that drivers workday which I was told could be 11:00 PM. I called again at 9:00 and was told there was a 2:00 wait time. After 20 minutes I spoke to someone and they told me my delivery was re-scheduled for Saturday. She did not know why it was re-scheduled but could be due to traffic or bad weather. It was 80 Degrees and sunny. I told her I paid extra for this delivery and had movers scheduled in the morning. I was then put on hold for a supervisor and waited 20 more minutes and hung up. I called back spoke to the same girl and she said she did not know why someone did not pick up and put me on hold again. This time the recording said my wait time was 20 minutes which it turned out to be about 10. The supervisor told me that my order was still scheduled when I called at 3:30 but something must have happened after that. I asked why I was not contacted, and she said she could not answer that. She did however waive my fee for the specific delivery time which I ended up have to pay the movers for cancelling. She also told me it was going to be delivered Saturday afternoon which caused me to ask why i wasn't first on the schedule at this point. She said she would send the center a message requesting an early delivery. I was called by the driver the next morning for a drop off and everything went smooth from that point until they overcharged me $238.00 which a very nice person just corrected for me. My son and I ended up unloaded the container since I lost my movers. Not saying don't use but also don't count non them to deliver on schedule.

8/7/2023: Would give 0 stars if I could for the company overall. Continued rescheduling with no communication. Currently on day 3 of a guaranteed delivery tomorrow of my second container.Updated: 8/10/2023: I finally got my container delivered an hour and a half after the AM delivery scheduled. It was picked up a day after it was scheduled, again with no communication from them that it was rescheduled.Pack Rat doesn't care about customer satisfaction. After 5 days of no communication from them, the only compensation they are willing to give for the delays and inconveniences is the bare minimum in refund as possible.I will say, George Greenfield in Wake Forest deserves 5+ stars however in customer service!

The worst company ever wish I read the reviews before requesting for two containers to be delivered on 8/17/23. I received one container on 8/17/23 but not the second one which was rescheduled twice without a call to inform me. I had to cancel the second container because it would not arrive on time for me to be moved out of my place by 8/21/23. Because of the inconvenience I had to put my other things in a storage unit. So now my things will be In two different places. My first container was supposed to be pick up on 8/21/2023 and has been rescheduled twice so my new pick up date is 8/23/23. Thanks pack rat now my property manager is trying to get the container removed off their property.

This has the WORST experience! I scheduled for pick up on 8/14 . Waited all day ! I had to call them at 6pm just for them to tell me they rescheduled!!! No one informed me . They next I had to babe out completely! Which left me to all my things outside! To wait for them to come & pick up . They are under staff !! I had to go through hoops to get a proper compensation!!! I do not recommend!!!

If I could give a zero I would. They rescheduled the pickup of my Pod without even asking. Pod is still at my house with no communication from them. I regret using them and will not refer them to anyone.

Horrible company. Workers all seem miserable, and more then used to upset customers. Driver called and said they were 30min away, customer service said they were short staffed so just all around lies. After 5 and a half hours and several "we will call within an hour for an update on your container" I canceled the order with a very rude custermer service rep.

Was charged for an extra month, even after calling for weeks to have an empty storage bin returned. Called the company to resolve the charge, but was hung up on repeatedly. Not worth the time or money or frustration.

Our pod was supposed to be delivered 6 days ago. We called the day before delivery to confirm and was told it would arrive at the necessary warehouse between midnight-2am and be ready for delivery. THAT was a lie. We are now on Day 7 of calling the company daily to find out where on earth our pod even is. They can't track the pod, can't even get a hold of a human in warehouse locations to check to see if the pod is there. This is a complete nightmare. We literally moved to the state in which this company operates out of and they still can't get us the answers we need.
