Very clean and comfortable place. Not sure if the other reviews were at a different vet :/ the staff were very sweet and helpful with my puppy, startup shots, and tests. My pup does not mind being here at all, and the techs are always willing to help sort out financials.

Took my mom’s cat in because he was foaming at the mouth and sick. They did X-rays because they expected he had an obstruction but found nothing. Brought him back to my house to take him to the primary vet and now both my cats are sick with an upper respiratory infection. Simple diagnosis and between my mom and I, we are over $1000 in over upper respiratory infections and 3 sick cats. I will never go back here.

This past weekend, my daughter had to make the very difficult decision to put her beloved Furby to sleep after discovering at a Veteranian facility in Charlotte that he was rapidly declining in health. We contacted the After Hours Emergency Vet clinic in the early morning hours and a staffer informed us that we could come right away. Upon arrival the intake was brief and we went into a room right away. They explained the process and allowed us to spend as much time as we needed with Furby before the final procedure. After Furby passed away, we were allowed time in the room with him to say goodbye, that was a difficult moment. We appreciate this staff for their professionalism and sensitivity to our delicate situation. Our condolences go out to others who may be experiencing the loss of beloved pet as well. Thank you so much!

I expect to wait in emergency rooms. My biggest complaint is not being allowed to be with my cat during her examination.

Try to come here to treat my cat eye infection, however, the front desk can’t tell me how long I have to wait. And when I ask one girl in the front desk last Sunday was 1/21/24 at 9:30-10:30am, the front desk can’t help me even just a question of how long have to wait on the line. I was there for a hour after filled papers and i couldn’t get my cat treatment. Also in the weekend they only have one vet doctor on Sunday to take care of your pet and you will spend your more budget just wait there with unknown time and couldn’t get a good customer service just to ask a question. I decided to leave and visit Banfield for my cat treatment. Lucky, I got the early schedule from Banfield and they really provide very good customer service and answered my questions with concern.

Overcharged place to take your fur baby. Won’t even refill any prescriptions without being seen again. Do not take your pet there

This used to be a professional business to go to. Overcharged with terrible customer service.

Total rip off. $105 just to walk in. Then prescribed some antibiotics for an infection in the paw that had no effect but cost $92 for 20 amoxicillin pills. Another $48 for 14 pain and anti inflammatory pills. Total waste of money and time.

My finance and I had to take our dog in last night for an emergency visit due to blood in his stool. We’d like to recognize Jonah for the amazing customer service and caring attitude to get us in and have our dog seen as soon as possible. Jonah was super informative and assuring during the whole visit while my fiancé and I were clearly upset about our poor dog. The vet working overnight saw us and was very helpful and friendly giving us a care plan and explaining the breakdown of how much our visit would cost. Overall we’re very satisfied with the cost for our dogs stay and work being done and I’d definitely recommend anybody coming to this location during a medical emergency with your pet. Thanks again overnight staff working 1/22/24! You all are an awesome team!!

I brought my dog in because he ate some candy wrappers and dog toy squeakers. He’d been throwing up for 1.5 days, so they took an x ray, blood work and did an exam. They tell me that there’s no blockage, but they can monitor him for a day at a cost of $1,700 or I can monitor him at home. Needless to say I took him home but still had a bill for $800+This place is all about the money.

I was a bit worried from the reviews I read but I can say the service I received was beyond my expectations. Everyone was nice and understanding. There was a long wait but once in it went pretty quickly. The vet explained everything concise and clearly. Even helped to keep the cost down as much as possible. The only thing I didn't like was I was charged a exam fee for after midnight even though I checked in around 8pm. Overall it was a good experience and my dog is getting better

While the vet seemed knowledgeable, they did a poor job of keeping us updated throughout the 7 hours we were waiting. Upon arrival, we were told someone would be out to triage her "shortly." Shortly was 2 hours later. From there, we only received updates on our dog, when we asked. We were told at triage that she would need to be sedated to examine her injury because it was in the back of her mouth. We were not told that this would mean that she would not be examined until all of the animals were discharged. We were only told this when we went to check on her 3 1/2 hours after she was triaged. We were told at triage that she would be given pain medication to keep her comfortable. When we received the bill, it does not appear that she was given this medication. So she waited for almost 7 hours in a cage in the back with no medication for comfort. When the doctor finally spoke to us, he said that she was so anxious that she did not respond well enough to the sedation for them to be able to examine her. We waited over 7 hours to go home with no exam, an antibiotic, and some anti-inflammatory medication. Keeping families updated of their pets condition, wait time, expectations, etc would go a long way in improving the experience at your clinic.

this one guy with glasses a older white male with white hair and beard this man was rude to my mother and two us very disrespectful unkind not a great employee at all! he went on a power trip and abused it threatened to charge us extra more then the amount that's supposed to be charged. Another then that the front desk ladies was kind to us and very patient. If this is going to be a business, at least show that you really care about the customers and their pets not just their money

Do not take your pet here if you can find a different emergency vet or if you can wait until the other emergency vet is open (usually the next day). They overcharged for tests that I specifically asked them not to run.
