We have been waiting for a tank pickup for close to a month. We're now waiting to see if someone comes on the fourth date that we've scheduled. We had switched to another provider because Amerigas does not support connection to a generator in our area. Hopefully someone will show up February 1, 2024.

BAD!!! DID NOT receive an original invoice for my propane gas when had to order twice 11/24/23 and 11/28/2023. Have talked with Customer Service “NUMEROUS TIMES” about NOT RECEIVING AN INVOICE AS PROMISED. I WANT TO PAY WITH “CHECK”. Several customer service attendant’s are rude. The best and most promising Customer Service person I have talked with was EMMANUEL from 1/20/2924. JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY “I HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN INVOICE BILL”?????

Amerigas has terrible customer service that is automated from outside the USA. They are unable to resolve any problems. I highly advise finding a local gas company.

Terrible customer service. We have had 3 standing appointments with them to come and run lines to our generator and they’ve been a no show every single time. It’s impossible to get anyone on the phone. I’m so fed up with this company. We had issues at our previous home and ended up canceling Amerigas after they bought out guilford gas. Was impossible to get in touch with anyone then and still a problem now! You are going to lose our service again if this isn’t resolved ASAP!

Guilford gas had better prices per gal and better customer service. Happy Rentz has had an account with Guilford gas/Amerigas for over 20yrs. Never had a complaint until we realized how high Amerigas is charging compared to other companies now. Amerigas charges 2x's more than two other companies we have gotten a quote from. We called customer service today to see if we could get a better price before we cancelled our services with them. The representative (Bell Pangan) said they could not give us a better price and did not mind to loose our business after 20years and would not give us her employee number.

Horrible customer service. I don’t know what changed but it wasn’t for the better. I’ve called & spent hours on hold, no one communicates why or even asks if it’s ok to place me on hold. It’s been months & I’ve yet to be placed on a payment plan. The representatives continually call me the wrong name & ignore me when I’ve asked questions. Right now, I’m hold for 30 minutes & no one has came back or provided an update. This is something that should be handled in one call. I’ve already switched providers & have a new tank & Amerigas still refuses to come pick up their old tank. I’ve never met a company that doesn’t want their property back.

Was cut off Sunday afternoon without any notifications. Nobody works on Sunday so no help. I called the on line number and ended in a foreign country with poor English. They Don t know what happened but cannot deliver immediately. Very poor service

The worst customer service I have ever experienced.We are in the process of having a generator installed. Scheduling had to be changed because of lack of communication. The pipes were finally installed on September 5 and I was told that AmeriGas would schedule an inspection. On September 20 I called the Guilford County Inspector and was told that nothing had been scheduled. Since the Greensboro office is not staffed, I can only call the call center. They told me that they will send out a technician. I need an inspector! Until the pipe work is installed, the propane cannot be connected to the generator. There it sits in the yard.

My how things can change in a couple of years. Used to be a good company to work with. Switched to another provider. They still owe me several hundred dollars but, they put a lock on my tanks so I can’t even use the propane that is in the tank.

Poor customer service from call center. Guilford gas in Greensboro was much better before amerigas bought them..Charging your customers a 200$ fee because they didn’t meet the minimum usage for the year of 250 gallons is bad business.We never get communications from anerigas and when we need to refill our once a year we always have some fee no one can explain. Amerigas do better by your customers.

Ever since the local Guilford Gas office closed, customer service is non-existent. Call center representatives tell you one thing, but service technicians show up to perform tasks and say the information given by call center was incorrect. This happens over and over again. Charges and fees on invoices are always completely different (higher) from what was promised.

More than requested was delivered for the second time and you keep trying to make me pay for what I did not want. I have never had a delivery with NO issues, I always have problems no matter what. Terrible customer service and just terrible to deal with all together

Not very good actually looking for another company that is own by Ameri gas. Can’t get an answer when ask about bill. When received a bill you charged for every service provide. Never get a person that you can understand when you call.
