My husband and I are first time buyers with BrookBank Auto Exchange, LLC. My husband has been looking to purchase a very specific model of truck, a 2018 Ram 2500 Cummins with a manual transmission, for the past six months. He finally found one at BrookBank Auto through an online advertisement. The truck looked to be in mint condition and too good to be true. Living in Pennsylvania, almost six hours away, we were hesitant to make the drive. My husband called Jeff and our fears were put to rest. Jeff was completely professional. He was not at all your stereotypical, pushy used car salesman. He was a pleasure to do business with. After placing a hold deposit, we made the trip down to look over the vehicle. The truck looked just as advertised online. There was no false advertising! A mechanic made the trip with us and took the truck out on an extended test drive. Our mechanic looked the truck over (top to bottom, front to back) trying to find a reason to NOT buy the truck. Consequentially, the only flaw was a cracked a/c condenser. Following the test drive, we brought this issue to Jeff's attention. We could tell by his demeanor that Jeff was genuinely unaware of the issue with the condenser. Negotiations were very simple. Jeff was a reasonable and fair man to do business with. The negotiations were complete and the price was finalized before we even left our home. There were no surprises! However, Jeff agreed to negotiate a fair refund for the cost of repair for the condenser. Receiving the refund was no issue at all and timely. We cannot say enough good things about Jeff and BrookBank Auto Exchange, LLC. We would definitely encourage and recommend friends and family to do business with them. We look forward to the opportunity to buy another vehicle from Jeff someday in the future! Thanks again, Jeff! Katy and Nick Kirsch

DO NOT BUY a vehicle from this company. FALSE ADVERTISING and DO NOT STAND BEHIND THE WARRANTY GIVEN!!!!! My 20 year old son was in the market for a new truck and his first major purchase. We drove 2.5 hours to look at a truck. When we got there my husband pulled out the transmission stick and it was broken off. They stated that their 3rd party mechanic had looked that vehicle over and just missed it. They were going to fix it, look over EVERYTHING and deliver to my son the next day. The next day came and there was an issue with bringing it so it would be the next day. We were to meet at the bank at 2pm. 230 came and no one. Finally around 330 got a call that the oil light had came on and they turned around and went back. This issue was fixed and we tried this again. Because of all our trouble they were going to give him a 3k or 3 month warranty but what good is it when they don't stand behind it and they make the final decision, Right? I tried telling my son that this was not a good idea or what I thought to be a good truck. This was his first big boy purchase and I guess you live and learn. He was so excited about doing this all on his own. The truck was delivered to us with the promise that the truck had been thoroughly gone over, the entire vehicle along with some extra things like flushing the transmission, etc. but these are all things that should have been done when the truck was taken in before it was put on the lot for sale so this was no favors. This truck was advertised as having a lift kit but no, only a leveling kit. We found this out when we took it to a body man. We noticed that when you go over a railroad track or a rough spot in the road that the front end wanted to sway a little so we took it to an alignment/ front end man and yes, top and bottom ball joints on both sides were bad. (it is a 4x4) I called Katie at CarGurus and she was going to call me back, remember we had a warranty but I had a really bad feeling. Of course, it went through a NC inspection so there was no way the ball joints could have been bad and she also told me that it could be the LIFT KIT making it appear to sway. THERE IS NO LIFT KIT (false advertising) The brakes pads needed replacing as well as the rotors turned (which he expected to pay for himself and he knew this). I know as well as all of you, the inspection could be passed, especially if they wanted that truck out the door. There are those who do these things or "overlook" things just as they did on this truck so many times. Now she says ball joints are not a mechanical issue or default but I will tell you this, if these ball joints go out on him and cause him to wreck or God forbid get hurt, there will be a lawsuit. She says that your son did buy a "used vehicle that is 8 years old". You didn't say that when you had your price at 21K!!!!! This is probably my sons fault for buying this truck after all the issues and warning signs that were thrown at him but the "peace of mind" warranty made him feel like he could trust them if there were ever any issues with the truck during the warranty time. He has had the truck 2 weeks. If in the market for a new vehicle, look elsewhere. (Katie is only relaying the owner's message so no ill will toward her. It is out of her hands and she was as nice as she could possibly be)

My husband and I were looking for a SUV because our family is growing. After looking at many places and not having very much credit we found our dream SUV. We were able to purchase our Yukon Denali with such a wonderful experience. Between Katie, Eric and Steve they truely made a dream come true for us. We couldn't me more appreciative for the wonderful experience. I would recommend them to anyone. Buying a car can be a very stressful thing, but with them we were comfortable and stress free. Thank you all so very much!!

I had the greatest experience buying my car from The CarGurus of NC Inc. Katie is an excellent sales rep. She is super friendly, professional, and will work very hard to meet your needs for a vehicle. The integrity of the staff is unmatched in the industry. They have a great selection of vehicles and if by any chance you don't see what meets your needs don't worry. Eric, the owner and the man with the plan, is dedicated to searching far and wide to find your perfect vehicle.
