Doug is a skilled photographer and just a really nice guy to work with! I got my actor headshots taken by him and absolutely loved the results. I chose Doug because his website was very clear about what to expect, and that clarity definitely translated into the actual shoot and product. I am generally very apprehensive about being photographed, but Doug guided me to a really lovely final image. Plus, his attention to detail and turnaround time were top notch.

It has taken me a little while to figure out exactly how I would like to review Doug Burke Photography. To start, we received many beautiful pictures of our wedding and we are incredibly thankful for those moments they were able to capture. The communication was always polite and the response time was quick as well. There were a few downfalls that we experienced though. In the finalized gallery there were a few key pictures missing (fist kiss, kiss at the end of the aisle, and a kiss as we exited in the bubbles). These are 3 very key moments for many weddings, so we were highly disappointed in these not being included. After letting Doug know, he was able to go back and find these pictures and include them in the gallery, but it made us wonder how many really good pictures weren't included. There were also some pictures that showed a lack of attention to detail including: multiple pictures with a finger in the top left corner, pictures of us in a field with an unwanted building in the background, and the single picture of the seating chart with one table list flipped up and unable to be read. We also were incredibly thankful for our wedding coordinator because she was helping our positioning, especially with the family photos, where the photographer didn't say much, snapped one or two shots, and then was ready for the next group photo. It was disappointing because we had sent her a list of names and photos for family pictures that she didn't bother to get out, only our wedding coordinator was able to help with that. Overall, again, we received many great photos, but it didn't come without some disappointments.

Our photographers were great to work with, the entire process was very easy, they were on time and extremely nice, and fun! Photos were not made stressful but very enjoyable to take! We could not have asked for better photographers for our wedding! We are not the most photogenic people but looking at our photos you could not tell. It is nothing but pure joy and happiness on everyone's faces. We were able to be present at our entire wedding and not out taking photos the entire time and it is exactly what we wanted. We would highly recommend Doug Burke for anyone's photography needs.

I needed a professional headshot and found Doug on Google.
The process from start to finish was super easy. After the shoot, Doug was very prompt in posting the gallery of photos to choose from and then touching up and producing final versions of the photos that were selected.
His studio is in a cool spot near downtown I haven't been to before and I had a good time chatting with him while we took the shots.
The final product came out fantastic and I feel far better about the image I'm projecting to the business world.

Amazing first family photo experience. Doug was wonderful to work with and very friendly. He was great with our 1 year old and wasn't afraid to be silly to help us get the perfect picture. Will definitely book again in the future and recommend him to anyone looking for natural frame worthy photos.

Doug was wonderful to work with and did great with our 2 year old son for our family pictures! Our little koala boy insisted on clinging to me throughout the session, but Doug took this all in stride and still got some adorable shots that we will treasure forever. He is a great communicator and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. Our photos were ready within a week, and we were impressed with the exceptional quality and variety of the images!

Doug did a great job with our firm photos and was very flexible with some last minute setbacks in scheduling for one of our attorneys. The process from start to finish was a breeze. The pictures came out excellent and we are excited to see them on our website. Highly recommend!

We hired Doug Burke Photography for our annual Scientific Symposium and Retreat for Adults with Fanconi Anemia. Ariel was our photographer and he was incredible to work with! He even went the extra mile to talk with our attendees and get to know the cause and event. Several attendees mentioned they really enjoyed chatting with him. This of course led to people feeling really comfortable taking photos. Ariel uploaded photos right away the next morning, and we are so happy with how they turned out. We would absolutely hire again!
