We lost a loved one recently and I am so grateful to have worked with Sedgefield through the memorial service process. The staff was wonderfully compassionate, and worked beautifully with us to craft a plan for flower arrangements that was perfect for our family. The magnificent altar arrangements the talented Sedgefield team designed brought tears to my eyes when I walked in the sanctuary. In our experience Sedgefield Florist absolutely lives up to its beautiful motto: "Be a blessing."
The team at Sedgefield also has a program for providing flowers to shut-in people and nursing homes. So: these are great people who do outstanding work for once-in-a-lifetime events. They are also great people who quietly serve the community every day. Sedgefield is definitely our family's go-to florist from here on out. As I said: RUN, don't walk.”
“Sending sympathy flowers to a friend for a recent passing. The funeral home allows flowers to be ordered on their website, but they charge a $20 fee to process, plus delivery/shipping, plus taxes and online surcharge. Bouquet Boutique offered a better bouquet at the same original price, but didn't upcharge all the tiny fees (aside from a reasonable delivery fee). I ended up saving over $20 by avoiding the funeral home's flower options. The process to order was easy, but I don't know if it's been delivered yet (or on time), so fingers crossed!”

“I ordered two peace lilies for my brother's funeral service. I phoned in my order with specific details. The peace lilies were lovely...healthy and the size I had requested. Every detail requested was done; the fresh flowers placed in with the lilies, the inscripted ribbons, beautiful bows and and each lily was placed as requested. “I ordered a casket spray for my father in laws service. Unfortunately we had to reschedule due to the funeral home’s disorganization. I called and spoke to the owner who offered to sell us another spray for half off if we needed. While not ideal to spend more money, it was nice to at least have that offer. The spray we did order held up for the funeral (9 days later) and it was beautifully done. The pricing for the size spray to me may have been a little steep, however I’ll definitely continue to patronize this business.”

“Moorefield’s did the flowers for my Mom’s funeral. Not only was Chuck Thompson a pleasure to work with, the casket spray and other flowers were absolutely beautiful. I described what I wanted, and Chuck was right on point.If I suggested specific flowers, Chuck made suggestions that might work better based on my original vision.Based on covid-19 restrictions, Chuck, like most florists, is working with a limited inventory of flowers. But the flowers he delivered for my Mom’s funeral were exactly what I had visioned.I will definitely call on Moorefield’s In the future.My Mom would be so proud.”
