Haw River State Park, located a few miles north of Greensboro in Browns Summit, offers a variety of outdoor experiences along the river. We really like going here during the spring and summer. The trail is often only 1 person wide, and there are snakes and ticks so be careful and check yourself when you get out of the woods. If you go during later summer the wild blackberries should be ready for a free trail snack.

This is wonderful trail. Not too challenging but definitely a fun hike!
