“I visited this Total Wine location today & I must say that Cindy was wonderful! Once I informed her of my wine preference, she was on point & let me taste Prototype Cabernet Sauvignon. Her pairing recommendation was a medium rare burger topped with Bleu cheese.....PERFECT!!!!! Thanks Cindy!!??”

“It seems we are always here for about an hour or so. There are so many items to look at and they have free coffee and tea as you walk into the store. They are playing Christmas music now and it's not Thanksgiving. I loved it. Will be back several more times before Christmas.”

“If you like muffins, this place has amazing muffins the size of a small dog's head. Many amazing flavors available, including what seem to be seasonal ones.
The store itself is almost always clean, and the selection is always great to choose from product wise.
The only major gripe I have with this store isn't anything they do, but more an effect from a service they offer.
The bar, while solid in theory, has attracted a rather awful crowd of human beings that I have overheard constantly mistreating and verbally abusing the bartender.
They also raise the noise level of any area they dwell in (Not limited to the bar area) by a multitude of levels. The topics overheard are not usually ones most folks would care to hear, either.
My personal favorite is when they get a drink in hand and wander the store solo, or in pairs, still chugging that drink like it might run away any at moment like the child that went off to college and never calls now.
They leave trash all over the store, and they constantly abuse and mistreat the workers there. Being bumped into by people near the bar area or the bakery where they like to post up on the benches is never fun, as they look at you like you kicked their puppy.
If you read this, and you are guilty of the above, please understand that we judge you for being terrible humans who feel the need to treat service workers like garbage while you get tipsy and perhaps even drunk at a Lowe's Foods. Do better.
That being said, I know and understand not everyone is guilty of the above, and the employees are saints for dealing with that and still maintaining the friendliness they do.

“Hello, I rarely go to the liquor store, but we have a bunch of people coming in town for the Wyndham golf tournament. I needed to purchase a few things and I have to share I had a great experience at the Lawndale ABC store thanks to Shannon! She was super friendly, welcoming, and incredidibly helpful from the moment I walked in. She gave to me suggestions and even helped me carry a box to my car. Her customer service was truly above and beyond and I wanted to make sure to share. Thank you, Shannon!”
“Loaded Grape is a tucked away gem! I stumbled upon Loaded Grape while searching for a new wine bar in town and found this one. It's in a shopping center which seemed weird but they make very good use of the space. I've been to several Saturday tastings where you can experience 5-6 wines from around the globe and purchase your favorite by the glass or bottle. There's always a friendly face-whether from a staff member or patron. I've met many nice people and enjoy all their events. They have a good social presence and website where events are updated so I do enjoy knowing what's coming up.”
“Great location for any ppl heading to Virginia Reidsville Brown Summit and want to grab a bite to eat ( at several locations less than half a mile) and you can get right back on 29 ro go wherever your heart desires lol the abc store has great prices and is mildly busy so never a long wait in line!”

“I come over and into this area for the Chinese restaurant known as the Szechuan Kitchen as I've been coming here and eating their food for better part of 18 years now. It has been exceptional and I still stop here on the occasion when I'm in the area. Their food is usually above most these other restaurants that I search and find this one here is really at the top of my list.”

“I ate a yummy salad from the salad bar today. Sorry, I ate it before I thought to take a picture. I also bought some fusion apples, anjou pears and bananas (.49 per lb). I looked over all the frozen items, especially the ice cream. They have the tiny Haagen Dazs containers for $2.19. That's perfect if you want just a taste. Too much of a good thing can lead to carb crash for me. I like the $5 meal days they have Mon thru Friday. I'm putting a photo of the sign but I know you can find details online.”
“This is a great place to get unloaded from. My appointment was 10/5/23 at 4am and he was literally done at 4:20am. Nice people. I got here the day before around 1pm just to see if I could get unloaded sooner but they was overworked and couldn't squeeze me in but they were nice and generous throughout the warehouse. One guy looked at my paper to see what I had to see if he could get me but I told him no worries but thanks for trying anyway. If all shippers and receivers were like this place, trucking wouldn't be so bad at all. As tough as it is with being gone from home, the road, the breakdowns and etc, the life as a trucker is already tough but to run across people like this is priceless!! Thanks fellas..”

“I stopped by at this store Saturday morning to pick up some fruits and vegetables on our way out of town on a camping trip. I had to get something out of one of my external storage compartments. While in a traffic slowdown on I40 west of Asheville the car next to me told me one of my storage doors was open. I had taken a few things out at Harris Teeter and forgot to put them back in and close the door. So I called the store (about 4 hours later) and was lucky enough to talk to the store manger. He listened to my dilemma and said he would go out and look to see if the contents of my storage compartment was still in his parking lot. About 15 minutes later he called my back and said he had found my stuff and would hold it until I returned next Friday. That’s service! It’s a tribute to the high quality individuals employed by Harris Teeter.”
“I've been going to Beer Co. since day one. I have made some of my best friends there. There are six beer taps, a cooler full of enough styles to please anyone. You can purchase beer and wine to go or hang out in the bar or at the outside tables.Google Timeline tells me I've been to Beer Co. more times than my work. A friend asked how that is possible. I work five days a week. Beer Co. is open seven days a week. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. If you are staying downtown and want to enjoy a beer or two or pick some up for the hotel, Beer Co. is your spot!”

“Received a door assignment quickly after arriving, and unloading took maybe 30 minutes at best. Use exit 208 off of I40 to enter as if you come in from the south, you can not turn left into the receiving dock located at the lower entrance. The upper entrance is marked with no trucks, although staff on site were friendly and allowed trucks to enter the gate and turn around in order to go to the correct entrance.”
