Scheduled an appointment to make sure all of my dogs vaccinations were up to date. This is literally the only place I’ve ever taken him and he is only 2. Surly his file is new. I was told they have no way to access his records. Not only was this an inconvenience the girl working the counter was extremely rude and unhelpful. They ended up saying my dog needed his flu shot, after I had to dig through multiple emails of past records. I trusted that they knew what they were talking about however when I got home I realized he just had his flu shot in September and it was still good. Now I’m over here hoping my dog doesn’t have an adverse reaction. Definitely won’t ever bring my dog back here. Maybe your staff should be required to take a course in basic customer service skills.***this is just a review for the Vetco clinic, I love all of the very friendly, very helpful individuals who work for Petco***

BEWARE - This PETCO on Wendover Avenue has TERRIBLE service. Sarah B. always has an excuse about why she can't do basic grooming correctly, all while charging me for things she didn't do. The store has an absentee manager (I've tried to contact her twice).If you want a decent grooming job, do NOT go to Petco.

Rude and terrible customer service. Came in for a refund or store credit for an item with receipt noting I had 60 days for return. Apparently the sign on the counter of 30day return policy is in effect and what the receipt says means nothing. The manager Aidan was rude and condescending. He made me exchange the item for a more expensive item and I was not given a new receipt. The sign on the counter of 30days should also reflect what is on the receipt. Petco is ripping off it's customers. This terrible business practice . Will never go there again!

(((NO STARS))) Read all paperwork before you leave this store to find any mistakes I'm truly upset that Mindy Joyner DVM screwed up my dogs rabies certificate. This cert was supposed to be 3 years NOT 1 year. I ordered and paid for 3 years certainly NOT 1 year. To make matters worst, both Vetco and Petco refuse to fix this obvious error. The only resolution suggested is to have the dog vaccinated again... of course at a cost to me. What a bunch of incompetent clowns.

I was attempting to check out with a live fish. The person that helped me with the fish handed the cashier the ticket who tried to give it to another employee after we were already standing in her line. She refused to look at me or my husband. She would not answer questions or bag our items. My husband had to get a bag himself for our purchase. She did not want to let go of the receipt which was beyond me! I figured something was wrong with her until I had to pull my receipt out of her hand. I said to her I am sorry you are having such a bad day and turned to leave when she called me a fat b***** She then got the trashy customer behind me in line to join in. I contacted corporate. No one called me back. The store manager never called me back. I guess it is ok to discriminate and call people names if you work at the Petco in Greensboro off of Wendover.

I arrived at Petco with a very excited energetic 9 year old. We walked around to find a bathroom for him. My son does not like public bathrooms but has to go really bad. The bathroom was a little creepy. In fact, we saw a cricket in there. Needless to say, it was a rush and get out situation. We located the fish section and his energy and excitement grew. Caleb greeted us and offered to assist us. Well, again, I'm dealing with excitement and energy all the while Caleb is talking all things fish. Caleb was extremely patient as I had to redirect my kid several times. Caleb was extremely patient when my kid asked him 1,001 questions. Caleb was extremely helpful because I knew absolutely nothing about fish. Did I mention Caleb did all of those things with a brightness in his face? I literally felt like he was excited to help us. He may have been cringing inside but his outer appearance never showed it. After attending what felt like Betta Academy with Caleb, we met Amanda at the register. She greeted us with a smile and helped me when I had some confusion on store and online pricing. She engaged with my excited energetic kid as well. All in all this trip was a success and I am a mother to a male Betta named Franko.

We love this location and the people there. They have always been wonderful and helpful. They love when we bring our cat out and when we bring our new puppy. The only problem is one worker named Kendall. She taints our experience every time. She's borderline rude every time we go in there. She doesn't say hello or respond to many questions. She's very curt. She messes up the discounts often, she misses items when we check out and gets rude like we did something wrong. Every time we see her there we wish we came on a different day. We love the rest of the staff but she makes the experience miserable.

Absolute worst PetCo- my SO stood there waiting for help at the fish for several minutes- watching employees walk around doing nothing. One employee even looked at him and darted the opposite direction. RUDE. (This isn't the first bad experience here either)

The people who work here are a little on the bashful side and that could come across as rudeness. I've heard a lot of people take it that way. I realize customer service in America is expected to be fearlessly friendly but it's just not what you want. These people have their empathy cog and when I come with a need they know how to make smart ethics choices. My snake needed a live rodent because he won't eat frozen. To a lot of people that don't believe it should be the rodent's fault the snake won't eat the frozen rodent but this is an ethics issue but people at this petco are good at almost thinking all off the ethics angles so they are able to express concern from your point of view. PetSmart made me feel absolutely horrible like my snake should starve. I was pushed into a corner with Petco having sold out and backordered on mice. They forewarned me about pet smart and told me another place to go. If it had not been for them my pet snake would be hungry in the middle of the pandemic of coronavirus. I shop here often for the cute toys and they always have nice fly cultures for my insects. They don't sit their crickets out to die and not be sold like PetSmart. They controlled how many people entered the store during coronavirus. PetSmart pretended to be superior for not selling mice for food, their excuse: "we don't test them it might not be safe." I said "You are going to force me to feed my snake wild mice I have to feed it something is wild mouse safer?!" I went to the suggested place from the girls who work at Petco and still felt the effects of my anger at the hypocrisy of pet smart

The staff at this location are amazing!!!! They care and are knowledgeable especially Jackie who helped me and my Significant other get our newest pet Steve the Gecko. I solely use petco from now on
