I'm so disappointed in how I was treated in this store. AMANDA MARTIN was incredibly rude. And as much as I wanted to dispel rumors about Sephora, she was very unwelcoming and I won't be back. Y'all need to do better, and not make poc feel so unwelcome. đĄ

Today upon walking into the store I was ignored, even though two workers were having a conversation in the entry way. Once I found what I wanted, I stood in line at checkout counter, there were 2 people at the register, once it was my turn to checkout, a girl with braids at the register opened up, but she turned her back to me and started talking to a coworker, no acknowledgement or anything, they were talking for a a minute or two, then the phone started to ring, she answered, still no acknowledgement, then she walks off once the other worker was free. This was rude, and the experience as a whole shows lack of customer service skills, too much talking to each other and not enough acknowledgement of the customers/clients.This is coming from a person who has worked retail for about a decade at many different levels. If you need to run the cameras back to see the interaction, my receipt printed at 4:37pm, today.

I usually love coming to this location. I havenât been in awhile because I usually visit Ulta and I work for a retailer that sells beauty. I went a few days ago to try out some fragrances and get fenty concealer! I was about to ring up and the associate told me I was eligible for my birthday gift. I was very excited to check out what I could get and I asked about the perfume that was part of the birthday gift. She pointed to the wall where âJulietâs got a gunâ perfume was located without actually telling me the name of the perfume. I simply guessed bc I could see the color of the bottle. She didnât walk over to assist or ask me how I liked it. About 2 mins later she loudly says, hey hun, youâre going to have to wrap this up itâs about time for my lunch and I need to get goingâ. My opinion, that was terrible customer service to not assist me but then tell me to hurry up because you have to go to lunch. For someone who works in customer service, I hated that experience. She could have easily excused herself and introduced someone else to assist me. There was nothing personal or memorable about the experience and thatâs what customer service is all about.

Waited until 5 minutes before they opened to tell me that they had to cancel my makeup appointment. I was already in the parking lot. I made this appointment 10 days beforehand for my birthday.
Iâm typically very forgiving of unforeseen circumstances, and it was icy today. However you know more than 5 minutes before that you arenât going to make it into work that day. Because of the late cancellation, there was no one anywhere who could do my makeup and I had to cancel the photo shoot I had already planned and paid for.
Sephora asks for 24hours advance notice before canceling, and I canât believe they donât offer the same consideration to their clients time and money.
Iâm very disappointed in Sephora and their lack of communication and professionalism.

My experience wasn't as always before. The girl tried to rip me off on the $300 rewards I spent. I accidentally purchased 2 of an item, and she tried to give me $4 for something that was 38. The manager on duty took care of it, I returned 2 items and still had to pay out of pocket for the things that were less than I paid for my original purchase.

dial them prices down a little bit like damn I gotta pay almost $40 for the little stick perfumes and yâall know they gonna run out in like three days

Quite literally the worst retail experience I have ever had. Came in to get a fragrance I already knew I wanted, so this was meant to be in & out. Fragrance wall had two associates helping one man. I patiently waited for them to stop flirting to help me grab what I needed to no avail. Had to ask someone in makeup to grab it. (Wish I got her name bc she was the only kind & helpful associate). I get to the register and the two girls there completely ignore me as I pay, did not greet me, and just laugh to each other. Employees have NO sense of surroundings and possess some of the worst customer service skills I have ever seen.
Honestly the Ulta nearby will probably be better, or any other Sephora location. I never post reviews like this, but this experience was so insanely ridiculous.

Every time you go to this store, the woman wants to register... they never find the registration that I've already done in another store in the same chain... it makes you waste unnecessary time again and again... not to mention how can I spend 200 dollars and they don't give me any samples to try?...

I am a black Muslim woman who came in the store to try to make a purchase for my daughterâs sweet 16 and was very unsure what to get. I looked around in the store; I noticed there were 4-5 staff in the store and I was not greeted nor asked if I needed anything help finding anything. Many white customers were greeted and assisted with a smile. I will not shop at the store again. Instead, I will look into opening my own Sephora so black people of all kinds can shop at.

GREAT STAFF!! Whenever I come into this location I am greeted and offered help immediately. It can get really crowded on the weekends but never to the point where its a turn off. I recommend doing a pick up for convenience on busier days.

Today, 6/23/2024 was my daughterâs 10th birthday and Sephora has became one of her absolute favorites since social media of course. We were in Greensboro, NC for her National Dance Competition so we decided to visit the location at 803B Friendly Center Rd, Greensboro, NC 27408. We have visited Sephoraâs in every city we visit because of her love for this store and their products. When I say this was my baby girls most amazing experience EVER!!! From the moment we walked in the staff was incredible. Two female associates that I felt were managers maybe; went above and beyond to make her feel special and happy about being in the store. We spoke with the most kindest and sweetest gentlemen, he made my day as a dance mom and was so kind and encouraging and blessed my soul without even knowing that his words lifted my spirit. Another female associate spoke with us and gave us suggestions about Summer Friday âdupesâ as my daughter would say. We chatted briefly and she was so sweet. All the associates smiled and wished my daughter Happy Birthday. Even the sweet girl that checked us out was amazing, I could tell she was slightly new but definitely belonged in such a beautiful environment. When my daughter left the gentleman added one more special touch to her day. She said, âMommy this is the BEST birthday EVERâ!! I must agree the staff that was at this location today around 4:45 pm to closing were SUPERB!!!!! I will drive 2 hours to come back for service like today.
