“Great selection of books & a comfortable coffee shop serving Starbucks coffee, but not a Starbucks-owned shop. Convenient location in Friendly Center. Friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere.”
“They have PlayStation 5 games. Yah! They have games for any and all systems from the looks of it. Well organized. And the guy that helped us was well informed on his products and provided great customer service. Thanks!”
“Not my first time in a Ssalefish Comics starting to realize they stores are set up a certain way and I am absolutely ok with this. I love the way the stores flow and I can't wait to go back.”
“This store has a huge variety of toys! I went for a last minute gift for a birthday party and found one of the games that @busytoddler recommended. They gift wrapped it for me and my kids had the best time looking around one corner of the store for 20 minutes. We'll definitely be back!”
“I called looking for a specific item. Steven took the time to check the system and the floor products to see if they had what I was looking for. Even though they didn’t have what I was looking for he referred me to another store that had what I wanted”
“This is the BEST Build-A-Bear in the Triad!!! The Winston-Salem has rude staff. Do not go there! The employees there always have attitudes like they hate their jobs and their customers. They bring the vibe down. Please come to THIS location and support these kind hearted individuals. I felt no micro-aggressions at this location (if you know…you know). This store is clean, well maintained, and organized. They have WAY MORE selections compared to the Winston Salem location. Claudia and Kierra (I hope I’m getting her name right) in particular are awesome! There’s one staff member here who I’m not too fond of (the one with the last in-store Chococat who looked at me dirty as though I was going to steal and tried to pretend that I didn’t exist—you know who you are) but everyone else has a good demeanor. Very demure and mindful. The Winston location needs to take notes. I’ve visited here on two separate occasions and it’s really decent. They behave professionally and speak appropriately around guests AND children and just have the heart that this business needs. Walking around this store made me feel like a kid again. It’s beautiful. From the set design to the decorations and display: It’s EXACTLY what a BAB store should look like. Even if you have to drive here from Winston it’s worth it for the selection and kind customer service. The store also is well lit and doesn’t feel dingy and/or crusty like the Winston location. Thank y’all for treating me like a human being and helping me with my online order for Mocha’s dress and Chococat. I hope y’all stay in business for a long time and receive the recognition you deserve!! Thank you?”
“I do like going to the store but they really need to do something about the situation of where they place everything. It's so crowded in there and you have to really be patient when you go shopping there. Prices are great, it's just you and everybody else trying to move around in there that becomes difficult.”
