I came through the drive thru yesterday with a huge migraine after getting an IV drip for dehydration. My husband was driving. Tell me why the pharmacist thought that YELLING at a customer for accidentally giving her the wrong card was a smart idea? What the heck is that about?? So rude, & I'm someone who works in customer service. I get how stressful it can be with short staffs, long lines... but you NEVER take that out on the customers, especially knowing that they probably aren't feeling well! She was rude from the beginning to the end of the transaction. Long black hair in a ponytail working drive thru pharmacy on Thursday, March 2nd at around 4:50pm.

So horrible, waited over an hour on hold on the phones then went in, and was told because I had a prescription transfer I was lowest priority and they’d get to it “when we can but we’re busy so it’s going to be a while”. 16 hours later and still nothing. If they weren’t the only pharmacy in town with the script in stock, I’d NEVER GO BACK.

Daughter’s medicine was somehow deleted on a Sunday evening instead of transferred. (Long strep test came back positive on a sunday). Husband went to pick up, said there was no record of it after I spoke to someone at length two hours prior when still was in system. I called to see what happened. Pharmacist tech blamed on someone else and hung up on me instead of helping fix problem. Horrible service!!!!

Their technician staff need to be trained more professional and improve their sense of responsibility. I had prescription with Walgreens on N. Elm st, one day their system was down for the entire day and they had to close down the next day. I wanted to get my prescription transferred to this Walgreens on Cornwallis with the thought of 24 hour pharmacy should be more professional. A lady technician picked up my phone insisted she could not do anything about it and told me to contact my prescriber for new script (what would I have to do that for? It's my maintenance heart medication, I got 3 refills, it's active, and not a narcotic! And I've been out for 3 days already). I asked to speak to the pharmacist yet she would not transfer me to the pharmacist either! I called Walgreens on Lawndale after that, 30 minutes later I got my medication filled, ready, and zero charge on insurance! What's the difference between these two pharmacies? That lady technician at Cornwallis is a total waste!

First time getting a prescription filled at this location, and it will definitely be the last time for me. Sent 3 prescriptions to this location to be filled, phoned in ahead of time to schedule a pick up time due to the holiday. Arrived at the drive thru for pickup, and was told that only two prescriptions were ready for pickup, the lady said the insurance wouldn't cover the most important medication that I use daily(BP) which I was completely out of, so I offered to pay and was told that it ain't ready and I would have to come back later. 1)I never received a phone call from the pharmacy advising me of this information prior to my arrival, so that I could offer to pay cash. 2)This is a daily medication that is absolutely covered by my insurance, so I knew that was untrue 3)The lady was a bit rude and unprofessional. I opted to take the high road and take the medications that they did fill and leave. The next day I phoned a completely different location, the staff was very professional and on top of that, I offered to pay cash and they told me that my insurance covers the cost, which was of no surprise to me. The Cornwallis location is one that I do not recommend because I had to go days without my BP medication due to misinformation from a rude and unprofessional pharmacy employee.

My favorite local drugstore. Love the 24 hour convenience. The pharmacy staff is usually the best. Always helping you find a cheaper way to purchase meds. That was important bc I was self pay. They have a lot of other stuff. Basic things foe household and foods as well as bacon and eggs and milk. Bath salts. Lots of choice. The nighttime pharmacist was kind a pia to me but I don't usually deal w him. He was paranoid by a purchase of Sudafed which is by drivers license. I came w my 19 year old son who had a cold and has no money and I was paying for him to take a box home for himself. And I needed a box to take home w me. The pharmacist was giving me a lecture about how I couldn't punch the keypad buttons for the checkout for son bc it would look like meth ingredient purchasing. Which is ridiculous if you saw us visually. What can we do w only 2 boxes anyways ? And we showed 2 drivers licenses. He just took it too far and wouldn't proceed until I was lectured. And I'm a criminal defense lawyer. Ugh. I just avoid dealing w him. The other staff are hands down the greatest. ESP the pharmacist technicians one has a Mohawk and the other is Asian. I got my flu shot bc they talked to me about it. They exercise great care to all the customers. I have seen it and heard it for all the years I have gone there. I hope those guys are still working there.

Needed some last minute supplies. I ordered online and picked up at the store. The order was ready in less than 30 minutes. I had an issue with a coupon applying online so the manager was able to help me out on the spot. I think we need to recognize our unsung heros like those who spend time away from their families to work and ensure that our families have what they need. Wishing everyone at the Cornwallis Walgreens a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
